The rate at which players are going down with HIAs, hammies etc. I'd be saving trades if at all possible.

I'm sitting on Jolliffe until I hear confirmation of the extent of his injury.
Held Chan, but am doing 1 trade this week: Chan > Wishart (Storm switcheroo) so I can save at least a couple of trades for the inevitable injury crisis that will come.

It does feel that way. I might just hold the three trades. They're bound to be needed.

(Touchwood - nobody break him OK)

    J.Brails as back-up.

Yeah nice JMK has been good, I was very close to starting the season with him as well but went Cook due to the Dolphins early bye Rip and then haven't been able to bring him in lately due to rd14 bye numbers.

19 green dots. Double loop the 2 Knights. 15 trades left. 1100 points this week I'd say.

Oh, and 326th in Supercoach. $50k coming to daddy.

And.... we have our confirmation that Jolliffe is a forced trade.

Back to scouring the player list for a Mid that has good bye round cover, good JS, DPP would be a bonus, can confidently put up 40+ average each week.

    Eisenthuth (benched, sorry bud)
    Smithies (plodder tackle-bot hmmm??)
    S. Fainu (hasn't lived up to pre-season expectations)
    Curran (looks promising)
K.Haas (hope he picks up the Mid DPP after 13)
Sorensen (probably has the best Fantasy cred, high BE, need proof that he's earned the Edge spot over Garner going forward, Panthers miss 16 & 19)
Loiero (shifted from Lock with the return of JKing) > JKing (will he keep the Lock spot and bang out 60mins each week?)
Barnett (honest toiler in the Warriors pack, will miss 13 & 19)

Methinks it will be a toss-up between:
    Curran (the safe pick)
K.Haas (Titan switcheroo) and hope for DPP
Sorensen (ignore the big byes and hope he's useful for the run home as a sub-gun keeper)
    Barnett (similar position to Sorensen)

Let me know your favoured Middle plodder to round out the 14-17 bench role

The Titans meanwhile have been dealt a major blow with news Jaimin Jolliffe will miss the next three months of the season after suffering a torn pec during the Magic Round loss to the Knights.

Wighton for $400k much more appealing imo. Will be a rd14 target.

I’m very keen on Lawton, nearly pulled the trigger last week. Only thing I’m worried about is having him this week then the bye and after the bye Croker returns so only getting one game out of him.

If there was a timeframe set for Crokers return I would happily take the punt

Not sure about that, Wighton has historically done a decent amount of kicking. Might be a relatively even split, will see how they approach it this week.

But Cody priced at 39, even with majority of kicking don't rate him to push that far above it. Compared to Wighton priced at 29 and playable at CTR, career 5/8th average of 46 (take off some points for Bunnies shitness and still lots of value).

Yeah, Lawton is an interesting buy.

Hindsight and what not, and perhaps nobody will believe me, but I was going to get him, but Manly said it's only a one week thing while Croker is out for an HIA so didn't bother saying anything/getting him.

Nice small cash cow that perhaps not many others will jump on, before you know it he's earned you a good $150K or so.

Lawton quite an underated player imo, loved watching him at the Warriors.

But yeah, really depends when Croker is back

I was just looking at him too because I need a playable edge this week. You'd think Croker would have to be back after the bye. Risky trade in, especially if Croker is back in round 14 and you are low on troops anyway with the Raiders/Dolphins/Roosters bye.

Just shocked that supercoach can continue with a sustainable product when they pay out $50k to over 300 players every year

Yeah not buying this week, waiting until 14

Exact quote: Lachlan Croker (Rd 9 vs Canberra) has an associated neck injury from the original concussion that is not conducive to a safe return at this stage.

On Lawton, it’s kinda crazy that all of Lawton/DWalker/Watson/Peachey started this season without a dual position

Watson is basically the most versatile player in the NRL
