Him or Haas. Reckon I'll watch this week to see how it shakes out, and look to jump on the better looking guy in R14.

Gees Rd 19 looks very ordinary. Thank God we only need 13. Mids look particularly awful.

Good thing about the Brailey/Smith combo is you can play both in rd 13, Smith then covers hooker in rd 16 and Brailey in rd 19. If Smith is still under 500k come rd 20 then I might just run one gun hooker and leave Smith in my emergencies and only play him if I have to.

Depends how good your squad is at this point.

Including the 8 bonus trades in round 20, you have 17 trades left this year. That means at least 4 of your squad will still be there in R26. Anyone you bring in as a cash cow/bye cover with a plan to trade out means 1 extra of your current players is now a keeper.

Do you have enough guys in your team you are happy to keep for the rest of the year? if yes, carry on, and hope they don't get injured.
If not, then maybe some slight panic may be OK.

Do your 13 need to be 13 starters. Or can they be in the eme too,
eg, if you have 2 hookers placing 13, can you get both scores if you only have 12 starters ?

All have to be in starting 13 for RD 13, 16 and 19.

So like you say if you have 13 playing, but 2 are Hookers you can only play 1 of them and hence only get 12 players those weeks.

To clarify, you only get scores for your 13 starters, but AEs still apply. so looping/benchwankery can still happen.

In the unlikely event you had 3 hookers, 2 that were playing, plus one with a bye/origin duty - you could start the non-playing hooker and loop the other 2 from your reserves.

Could this be the year of the 2 titty edges? Fermor firming up. I know that doesn't solve the mid problem but can see Fermor and Fifita taking more carries.

    Down to 13 trades here.

Was hoping to hold firm this week, but red dots mean Chevy->Wishart came in for 17 players, and Sam Fainu->Mahoney because SFainu doesn't seem up to the game, and I'd rather Reed's points this week than next week.

But I suppose I could hold Fainu, then bring in JBrails next week (Grant is other hooker).

Mahoney more likely than JBrails to be a final 17 player, so leaning move the trade this week.

    Any thoughts?

Anyone seen an injury update on Chester? Seems to be getting the Joliffe treatment. May trade him to Wishart this week if out next week

I reckon you could get away with 8 trades from rd 20, aim for keepers and just trade injuries... robust players and avoid pretty boy outside backs and should be sweet

Can wait til RD 14 for the first two, no hurry I spose.

And Cole just seems better than Chevy. But unnecessary.

Chevy > Cole is IMO the definition of sideways trading.
The rate at which players are going down with HIAs, hammies etc. I'd be saving trades if at all possible.

I'm sitting on Jolliffe until I hear confirmation of the extent of his injury.
Held Chan, but am doing 1 trade this week: Chan > Wishart (Storm switcheroo) so I can save at least a couple of trades for the inevitable injury crisis that will come.

I'm really about to either trade Grant a week before origin, Cook back in for $690k playing less than 80mins or Mahoney for $700k. I think Mahoney might be winning Shocked MS don't try and put me off him again I'm truly on to you now keeping him all for yourself.

I started with JMK, pretty happy with his JS and output. Available for 13, 16 & 19.
(Touchwood - nobody break him OK)

    J.Brails as back-up.
