Benji asked "hows lachlan galvin travelling, is he expected to play?" at 1:17. bit of a perplexed look on benji's face, answered a bit oddly 'er yeah .. hes fine yeah" and moved on. unsure what to make of that haha

Josh Drinkwater in nrlfootystats yet ?

If Glavin is dropped, based on that piece of interview, it's hard to see him coming back for round 14.

Yeah, im tempted to take a hit this week. Not ready to trade out Koula or Galvin if they will be back rd 14. I could trade KPP since he may not be guaranteed 80 mins each week

I don't love it but could make a case for trading KPP if it means fielding 17 instead of 16 this week.

The risk is he takes the starting spot back from Lucas from rd14 onwards and it's a complete waste of a trade but if he keeps coming off the bench he is going to need selling anyway and could pivot to the likes of a Nikora/Curran to maintain rd13 coverage.

This is my plan. Don’t need the EDG this week so probably just go King if we know by 24hr cut and get 2 EDGs next week. Other option for me is Lemeulu (Nicholls named to start and benched 3 games in a row now so confident Lemeulu starts)

Would possibly rule out Cotter to Hopgood (although he does have EDG DPP)

The hope is Lucas fills in for Best for a couple of weeks.

Lucas has filled in at CTR during games but reckon they’d either go Tuala CTR Jenkins wing or Mapapalangi CTR

Fox sports saying Rabbits plan tapping Cook on shoulder at end of year.  Would release him if got another club.

    Here’s the quote:
“There’s a strong tip the Rabbitohs are looking to tap Damien Cook on the shoulder at the end of this year.
Cook still has a year to run on his contract but if the Bunnies can find another NRL club willing to take him they won’t stand in his way.
South Sydney then want Cook to return to the Rabbitohs once he officially hangs up the boots to continue on at the club in an off-field role.”

Everywhere reporting Shane Richardson’s “secret trip” to UK to try to pitch clubs to take on Tigers players with Naden, Bateman, Sullivan and Staines all mentioned.  Also reporting Tigers gave iPap permission to negotiate to leave end of year.

Just for clarity’s sake, Galvin isn’t actually being dropped, is he? Isn’t there a hand/wrist issue that is potentially going to sideline him?

I need a Hok & Mid over the bye period and Clark would be the perfect fit as he covers rd14(Hok), 16(Mid), 18(Hok),and 19(Mid).
I just want to see how many Jolliffe minutes he gets this week before I jump on

Rested from training does not equal dropped. I might be bias but if Galvin's out, I'm playing 16.

I'm not trading out a guy who just banged out a 60 or any of my Knights players just for an extra score this round.

    Yeah maybe.

The only time Lucas started at CTR was rd2 this year and Marzhew was out so Jenkins was already playing on the wing. So he may come in this time.

You want somebody who is prepared to lie to you?

Yeah, no way I’m trading him out either. Either I’m playing 16 with him, or 15 without him. I’ll be away all tomorrow and weekend, though, possibly (and hopefully, lol) outside of reception for all of it, so I fully expect to return to reception with 13 scoring players.

players train with reserves when they're carrying a niggle that will keep them out that weekend. fairly normal.

eg madden trained with reserves the week that josh rogers played halves for the broncos. rogers wasn't ahead of him, madden just wasn't right to go.

i would say he's not playing this week. but hard to know beyond that..

Benj's coy response is the concern if it is injury related.

I don't own Glavin so don't care if he's dropped. Galvin is another matter altogether.
