    nice work.

i tried to use my own bye planner last week and it annoyed me how 'unfinished' it was, but i'm so short of time lately to build it out more.

Probably a dumb question, but is it only the top 1000 teams who are tracked on the YAFSS site?

It's anyone who has ever been in the top 1000 overall at the completion of a round, plus a few supporters.

I should probably just add everyone from the FOG league.

And thanks for the kind words mtb/Chewie.

Re-thinking my trades. Currently, like everyone, have Hynes and Angus on the bench. Neither will probably play more than 15 and 18 until normality is resumed in Rd 21. Also they add to the disaster that is Rd 14 (all I needed was Teddy to be named and Robson not to be FFS). They will be my two trades as I need an HOK and a captain. The only captain I can see is Teddy (but I already have 4 FB’s this week and he has the bye next week). Any other suggestions for captain? Two trades this week and at least two next week instead of two trade free weeks.

So, having played around on yafss & MTB's sites, I reckon (barring injuries / Origin call ups etc.) I can do the following trades over the byes and field almost a full team of scorers each week.

    Rd.13 Angus > Nikora (Playing 12)
Rd.14 Hynes > Hughes (Playing 15, will take a hit but worth it to save trades)
    Rd.15 Matto > Fifita (Playing 17)
Rd.16 no trades, can field 13 (trading the inevitable injured players)
Rd.17 no trades 17 warm bodies
Rd.18 no trades 17 warm bodies
    Rd.19 Shoes > Elliot (playing 13)

Best laid plans of mice & men right there. Big shout out to Yafss & MTB, your sites are invaluable.

Interesting. If TLT is kind, I could field a full 13 without having to trade.... (though I will likely need to...because I currently have 14 for rd 14...)

    Brailey
    Matto, Shoes, Salmon
    Smithies, Garner
    Strange, Weekes
    Aitken, Iro
    Armstrong, Manu, Teddy

Hynes, Angus, Cook, Cotter, Hopgood, Koula, Galvin, Piakura

Still think I’m going to get Kiraz over Teddy.
Just makes the next few weeks easier to manage and the Dogs have a kindish draw across those weeks.

It's probably sensible to trade Hynes and/or Angus but I also have Piakura and Id honestly rather have Salmon or maybe even Levi. But he should play R14 so maybe I need to hold him for the 28 points?

Considering Aitken over Teddy, DPP will be pretty valuable, or maybe I get both but will screw me for 14. Really need to get rid of Chevy.

What would be the "funniest" joke.

I think it's something minor happens to Edwards and Teddy is back for Origin 2

Followed by a David Fifita recall

I actually can't think of a positive scenario with Hynes from a fantasy perspective, no matter what happens with him we're all losers.

I’m worried about my plans for next week and you are planning Rd 19. Future trade plans, what could possibly go wrong?

If Hynes mysteriously is deemed not fit to play and Moses comes back this week and kills it, can he be parachuted in last minute or does it have to be Burton?

If Yeo plays maybe 40 minutes in Origin and is named to start in R14, I probably trade Crichton or Hynes to him. Gives me an extra 60 points in R14 and is the least likely to be impacted of the top tier guns over the Origin period, if getting low minutes and Cleary being out for Panthers.

He even got 66 points in 69 minutes in R27 last season, instead of being rested.

Never played less than 64 minutes last year, despite playing 80 minutes in Origin for the first 2 games.

Rounds 14, 17 and 20 are all Sunday games for Panthers, so every chance he plays and gets decent minutes.

Very different to an injury prone Hynes who plays R14 Saturday, R17 Friday and R20 bye. Also very likely to be rested in R27.

Crichton has byes in R14 and 23 and in a team where he is much more likely to be rotated out of the team and / or reduced minutes.
