Good points made in chat group. How does Young get in ahead of Barnett who has just got Wahs 2 big wins with his effort. Need some mongrel to win Origin

Young was the only blue chasing down Ben/Hammer to narrow kicking lines. He had.to play out of line and played hard. Martin, Hynes, Jake, Robson.... all low impact.

But that's the team picked - a grindy team not a sparky one. Young is far from the worst from either perspective

    I'm tempted to hold.

Another big game from Moses might force their hand.

I basically have to hold, got a couple others ahead of him to sell

    * Walsh - missing 14 + 15 (cat 1) + 16 (bye + Origin) + 19 (Origin) + 24 (bye), so that's at least 4/7 missed over Origin and one more afterward.

    * Angus - missing at least 14 (bye) + 16 (Origin) + 19 (Origin) + 23 (bye), so 3/7 over Origin and one more afterward

Compared to those two, Nicho is far more critical to a final team and is very likely to be dropped from Origin, meaning he would only miss 14 (not named to back up) + 16 (bye) + 20 (bye), missing 3/7 over Origin.

Given Walsh passed his HIA assessment, is he a chance of playing in R15?

No chance, the cat 1 would rule him out.

Tonight is June 5 and the Broncos round 15 game is June 14, only 9 days away.

Robson was great I thought. A few real effort plays, including the TS tackle when nanai looked certain. Active at the ruck and one of their better effort players I thought

A few of my mates have said Walsh got hit in the chest and it was whiplash and the ground that knocked him out. I thought it was flush in the head however decision was made very quickly and also but QLDer Klein, so probably sternum and best.

    Anyone got any good footage?

Multiple players have been given exemptions from HIA stand down periods already this year

I’d stick with NSW except for Suaalii, his next game for NSW is going to be in front of 10,000 for the Waratahs, conceding a bonus point against a random NZ province.

Can’t read too much into 13 v 12. They conceded twice when the coach was too slow to figure out he needed someone to play in the big fucking hole left by the sendoff, although to his credit he did eventually work it out and the answer wasn’t a bench booker.

And then 3 late when they were gassed.

Wouldn’t be scapegoating Hynes on this like he’s Mitchell Pearce or some shit.

Anyway now I have to sell Walsh and I’m not confident in brining in Latrell. Thanks Joey!

For some-one that usually has pretty level-headed takes about footy, Your yearly transformation into Cockroaches21 during origin time will never not be equal parts fascinating and hilarious, just needs the game day preview to put the cherry on top

Probably the worst thing you could say to me on this forum. That's borderline hate speech to me haha.

I've seen the footage again and he leaves his feet so there's no option but to send him off. Doesn't make Klein any less of a QLDer sympathizer though.

To be fair I ham it up abit for some bants around Origin time

The NRL is a joke if he gets an exemption for that, but I wouldn't exactly be surprised.

I'm selling anyway but he should by rights not play at all until game 2
