Any comment re: Hynes at the end of the game? He looked to have done something worse to his calf? Was grimacing and stretching but looked concerned. It was right at the end though, so could be cramp or just pissed off.

For serious, I guess you want to be at the first one, but unless it's twins you're pretty much surplus to requirements for the birth and the first few days.

In fact, the hospital gets you to basically sign a form which says (paraphrasing) " you are useless here, you will sit/stand over there unless instructed, and if you faint or do other stupid shit we will ignore you if anything else is happening with your missus"

In the long run, he'd be better off playing through the birth and having a game off when the kid in a week old or something.

I know someone who was born on the same day as the NRL grand final that their dad played in.

Wasn't first child though (I think 3rd or 4th) so dad was allowed to play before heading to the hospital.

They lost, so at least birth of child remained best thing to happen that day.

Max King and his wife announced the pregnancy in December so he’s clearly working at 1.5PPM if it’s ready in 6 months

Can do Hynes and Armstrong to Fifita and Latrell

Only leaves 526k for Hughes upgrade. I like Clark/Randall as a stopgap for R16 HOK but not sure Clark even starts when Fotuaika out given Pahulu is getting more mins/preferred start

The commentators were already making changes to the nsw 17 for game 2 at that point

Hynes just looked crampy. Probably 'cos a bit underdone due to the quad injury. I think they fact he wasn't 100% needs to be accounted for in assessing that performance. As well as the 12 men. And lack of go forward.

Although it is easier and more fun to just stamp him "not a big game player" I guess

Currently sitting with Keon coming in, but feel like taking him over Fifi is asking to fall further behind the pack.

Do you think he announced the pregnancy as soon as he rolled off her? Like "ok, job done, buy the pram".
