As an appendix to the move of the season I also traded Brown in when Moses picked up the pec injury giving me a $600k looper (he's getting a run in 1st grade this week)

Yeah the only saving grace as a Brown holder is that a few jumped on Rd 21. Maybe the real threat of the spoon will finally spark something. Maybe a dummy and run instead of dishing it off to Gutho every time. If not this week, next week for sure.

Pulled up in Port Macquarie along me travels, got a motel room to watch the game tonight and do some fantasy stuff! Haven’t had much time to do any plans so just quickly made some trades, traded KPP and Strange to Dedwards and J Bird, was going to bank one trade for next week but decided not to, fingers crossed the team is enough to win the eliminator and push into the top 500 over the next couple weeks!

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are supporting the family and friends of Kirawhan Fernando, the mother of player Tyrone Munro, who passed away yesterday (Wednesday).
Kirawhan is survived by her four sons, including her eldest son Tyrone, who has bravely decided to play in tomorrow night’s game against the Penrith Panthers in his mother’s honour.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs will wear black armbands to commemorate Kirawhan’s life against the Panthers tomorrow night, and has offered the Club’s full support to Tyrone and his immediate family at what is a very difficult time for them all.

Good old Wests Tigers….. Balmain threatening to pull out of merger and make NRL pick one of Balmain or Wests. Such a good idea to play that out in the press. The week before the Spoonbowl no less.

And with PVL and the NRL's previous clarifications that expansion teams, first and foremost, need to be financially viable.....it's such a great move considering they are the poverty stricken partner of that marriage.

Yeah read the article and it literally sounds like a fantasy - like if I was to be drunk at the pub and hatch a plan to bring back the Steelers. Except this guy runs Balmain lol.

They only own 10% of the joint venture, Magpies (presumably West Leagues) have a 30% stake of the company that owns the remaining 90%. Balmain of course don't even have a leagues club thanks to Ben Elias. They have a grond people like due to its location, despite it being pretty shit. The money to make it less shit is likely contingent on it being the Wests Tigers.
