Speaking of filthy-belated Happy Birthday for yesterday @filthridden

I'm usually able to honestly assess a players ability and likelihood of making the grade or having the goods. A flashy signing like Hynes is hard to remove the bias from being a Sharks nut, but I genuinely don't know where he is going to settle. His cameos for the storm were promising, then he kicked off for the Sharks in 22' and looked like he would only get better.

I back his ability, it was present. But will he go the way of many a HB in the Nrl and not come back, as he does look completely shot on the field, albeit not off it when he speaks. Remembering his dev as a halfback really only started with the Sharks. Some say 5/8 now or back to fullback. But confidence is required in every position, and I think he has the skills for a HB.
Love the bloke and wish him all the best, he really does have a heart of gold if you've ever listened to his lengthier interviews.
I foresee a cowboy lasso this weekend and a potential shellacking in the meantime though.

I'm backing Nicho to come good, though if it isn't this Friday it makes for a very long off season where you can't prove yourself until round 1.

I rang @Krump on a mad Monday bender a couple of weeks ago. Fucker didn't answer and still hasn't called back !!

even on the w/end bulldogs vs manly the bulldogs were on attack put in a grubber & there was a clear escort/obstruction by aloiai who changed direction & prevented the bulldog scoring a try it should've been a penalty to the dogs but the ref waved play on then manly went on attack & scored. this was near the end of the game when the bulldogs were ahead by 2 points. this blunder cost the doggies the game.

Schuster seems like the kind of guy that only plays football because he was good at it and doesn't really like the game. Would be much happier playing local league reserve grade training twice a week
