If De Belin is playing 80 mins at lock for the rest of the season Id say yes but it's pretty much a wash and both have good byesCantbeatwinners wrote:Fensom or de belin, 35 grand difference, is de belin worth the extra money

Cheers welshy, will try to get both eventually. Just which one first is my dilemma. Probably toss a coin and whoever I get the other will probably be the best option.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 24
normally how it goes with me mate or the traded in one gets injured and the other bags a double and goes for 80 points! Was second guessing getting Mannering until R16 after he has played his 2 byes and get another gun keeper in before! But Manners price is just too good at the momentCantbeatwinners wrote:

Oh I completely get what you are saying, I just meant that come bye period, some people will trade in a player because he plays the bye rounds. It might be something like choosing say Redwards instead of an NPR 130k cheapie, because you want the 30 points he scores that week. If you consider that, then perhaps spending an extra 10-20k to pick up Mannering (rather than waiting till he hit rock bottom in price) now and potentially gaining 30 points is worth it (would definitely take 20k over using an extra trade).Welshy wrote:
Im only saying to wait on him because he might be cheaper next week I was planning on grabbing him next week because he is stupid cheap for what he is scores playing lock which he is back playing and JDB is rising in price and has good byes, im getting both but getting the rising JDB now over the potentially falling in price Manners
As I said, 9/10 times people will go with what you said, and its the right call. Just thought it was a good idea to provide alternate thoughts, get the discussion going and all that.

If deciding on which one first go jdb, his price is rising fast.Welshy wrote:

Fensoms price will stay low for a while with the 40 in the mix.
In saying that raiders play the Sharks this week, fensom bound to make heaps of tackles v Gallen Fifita and co.

Get that mate and if I was only getting one in it would be Mannering 100% and I'd be getting him this weekendArcher wrote:

very much agree with this and echoed in the Mannering/JDB talk above. You would want likely all 3 in you final 17 and if that's the case get them whilst at their lowest to save cash and make upgrading elsewhere easierSashamaloo wrote:

Do i gamble on Woods -> Seumanufagai and hope he pushes out 50s like round 4.
JDB shoulder looked troublesome last match, i can feel him going down.

I'm either making no trades this week or going Walker to Foran
1. No decent cash out options
2.He's not gonna lose money with BE of 22
3. Starting to run the ball
4. Eels bye schedule
5. Just for this round the old versus the old club theory

who is involved in that trade, and if you brought him in next week, what trades would you make this week?

I think you would be better off going Tedesco and RTS this week. You don't really have any BE/price change issues with who you are trading out. But RTS is much more likely to match and go big against his BE than what Mannering is.
On a side note, how the fuck do you have the cash to afford that? I imagine you probably traded out DCE for TMM but who else have you pulled massive funds from

At the time it was heart attack stuff. Second minute and he looks like coming off-even if he stays on there is noooooo way he is going to play 60, let alone 80. Has it checked a few times during the game but still played 80 and went on to make 50 tackles.
All this with 4 forwards on the bench and not being able to win the game with 10 minutes to go. I will be sweating bullets on him this week but with Havili back in I'm thinking he's okay.
