Hahaha, shuddup @Pain! While over in the UK and Europe I was a little preoccupied so didn't get to keep up on the goings on on here. When I got home I had missed the most part of 3-4 whole threads.
P.S. Loving the pun against the Reds though, couldn't slag that bunch of haphazard hopeless kangaroo herders off enough if I tried.

If Liverpool Bulldog has that many, and unlimited usage per week he'd have about 20 trades left by now:lol:

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 24
Thanks for the advice lads... I definitely want to get Fence and/or a Dragon in (although leaning more towards Friz than JDB) but the lack of money is my problem. I know someone suggested using Mataora to do so but that seems a little crazy considering the guy has a 45.7 average at a 364k price tag and plays the first MBR. If he peaks before then then of course I will offload him but for the next week or so he's hanging about. I want to get rid of Carter and @Monty recommended Bat(e)man but just dunno if he'll get the minutes.
@SI, yeah mate, aware the news regarding Hodgson and if he ain't passed fit the I'll offload him to Rein or Peats. Thinking of making CS9 Peats for the byes but not sure I can justify the two trades it'd cost to bring him back in.

What do you reckon on McCullough
(a) keep as he still can hit 45-50 & he plays round 12 & I've kept him this long I may as well hold or
(b) trade to Lichaa - will play 80 good byes or
(c) trade to Rein - better byes than Lichaa but Havilii on bench so could get a spell or
(d) trade to Parcell - better late than never & will gain cash but doesn't play round 12 & minutes could be impacted with DCE return as Koroisau will remain in the 17.
Thanks.
Forgot to add that with Peats having a b/e of 65 I haven't included him as an option as he could drop in price so he's a wait & see.

That's a hold mate with a move to peats pre byes.
Others all too sideways with only real upside the byes. You will kick yourself at a Mcculloch 65pts Lichaa 55 or something similar which is always potential. Realise nikorima but more annoying for you this year though

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 24
Ok, so here's what I'm thinking to do.
Carter to Bateman this week, freeing up 160k and giving myself a week to watch Joel Edwards and see how he travels as well as keeping an eye on Jaifiti. I'd like to hold him for the bye but if he has peaked before then due to low minutes from the bench then I can make him Edwards (depending on how he goes) and the Tiges have a slightly better bye schedule than the Knights anyways.
Then, I can look at Fence, Friz, JDB, Mannering etc
Sound reasoning?

what's everyone's thoughts on Abraham Papalii? seriously looking at trading in for welch or even MCK, i need someone generating cash for me and think patman to holland is not worth it.

I was reading an article that Ricky said Bateman would be getting more minutes this week as there are a few of the pack in doubt this week. Of course if those in question all play then Bateman may not get many minutes like last week.

No one knows who's going to get the ctr gig i.e. Harris or Kennar so it might be worth waiting.

Which is the crux of the problem. Realistically I need a downgrade but of course at this stage I'd like a downgrade who will generate a bit of money. Even just a little bit. The only reason that I'd look at Bateman (with Raiders being so stacked and Rick the Dick at the helm) is for his bye cover.
Unfortunately, out of the whole Raiders line up I can only see one or two (at a stretch) players being called up for origin meaning that if he can't get minutes now it ain't gonna change a heap down the track.

I am seriously considering trading Parcell to McCullough when he peaks. Will be good at origin time and should play mins at lock and 80 most games

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 24
As far as I'm aware these are the downgrade options this week & none really inspire me:
D. Saifiti, Kennar, A. Papalii, Matai, J. Bowen, Asiati, Bateman, Cullen & maybe J. Edwards
I could go B. Lawrence to D. Saifiti if Lawrence gets crap minutes but Saifiti seems to play 30-35 himself.
No one knows if Kennar will start
Will A. Papalii, Asiati, Bateman or J. Edwards get decent minutes
Matai we've discussed
Bowen & Cullen may be gone next week
I didn't include Holland as I own him but he's a 100% trade in option.

Thanks for the BE's Milchcow
Still trying to decide whether I bring in Fensom(vs Sharks) this week and Mannering(vs Doggies this week) next week due to BE's? (instead of other way around) might save me $10k-$20k I reckon.

Captain Mannering for a POD? Could be the first 100 before Captaincy for the year
