Looking at their BE's I reckon they're both looking at a $15k price rise, Hastings should rise slightly more though, so may as well hold another week, unless your desperate for a few extra points.

looking at bye friendlies really and only other place is upgrading TMM to a gun half keeper?

    Johnson - shit byes
    DCE - shit byes
    ARey - shit byes
Milf - Medicore byes and overpriced

    Norman - great byes....not a keeper
    Foran - great byes....not a keeper

So left with Mbye? But is he really a GUN keeper

I think JWH can go to gun FR keeper level, been borderline there last season but injury affected games stopped that

last WFB spot- Barba or Mitchell?
If it wasn't for Mitchell playing the Knights and Barba playing the Broncos, this wouldn't be a question.
But you could not have two more polar teams for your attacking point fullback to be up against.
    It's... it's Mitchell, right?...

Hmm, how much of a risk do you want to take?
You could look to put switch Barba up there if you have him at WFB and bring in a WFB?
Otherwise you could take a gamble on Foran maybe - He hasn't been all that consistent, but a 5 round average of 47, decent byes and with little Tries/TA's to get there (so you would imagine these will pick up sooner or later) it's nothing to sneeze at.

How is everyone looking for the bye rounds?

IF my planned trades over the next few weeks take place and get lucky with injuries should have 14 or 15 for round 12, although that includes as couple of low scorers. Then 17 or 18 for Round 13, then 12/13 for both Round 15 and 18, but maybe pick up an extra one or two along the way. Have banked three trades so far.

Wondered if this is above/below/on average compared to others.

Just to add another curve ball, do you give Barba any points for the motivation of showing up his former club? Broncos having a great defensive record doesn't necessarily mean they don't miss tackles (I'm not sure what the actual stats are here), just that they aren't conceding.

I can get Tedesco via a Barba switch but will likely wait until after origin

was considering a wild swing at Nofo

I'm woeful. Without any trades, my current team for rd 12 would be 6 players (including players like Guth), 8 if Redwards and Bowen make a reappearance...

Hopefully that makes you feel better about your squad, cause it didn't help me Embarassed

Yeah, I think it's Mitchell vs Knights. Although Barba might do some ballhogging as he tries to prove a point against the Broncs. Hope so anyway as I'm playing both of them.

Going to have a unique experience barracking for Pat Mat this weekend. Have set a trade in stone to swap him out for whichever knight out of Pearsall and Lamb looks more promising (once all that nasty smoke subsides). He has a breakeven of 40. I don't expect him to make that. But each point he makes will be one less dollar he loses. I think if he makes it to 30 I will call it a win.

true, but Barba's scoring strength this year is off the back of his six tries. Tryless games have played 31, 43, 31.
Bronco's have let in one try in three games. My decision is really more of a massive rap for the Bronco's defence. Only a few WFB i would back to score well against them atm.

I have 10 Rnd 12 players at the moment (including Guth, Bhana, Bateman). It's only with the right trades that I'll get up to 14/15 (and that would include cashouts like Lamb or Pearsall or whoever turns up) and that depends on not having to fix injuries to guns. So don't feel too bad, because I could well end up fucked too.

I really want him in, would give me reserves of blaw/parcell, JWH, jtrbo and JDB but i think it would be most prudent to wait a week, named on the bench, not sure of his fitness or b/e

That's sort of how I'm playing it too, but I'm a bit of a scrooge in real life.  If I can get Taylor out who started at 130K or whatever and get a gun winger who started at around 450K, for 16K difference, the value here is incredible.

Hmm fair enough, cheers mate. It has got me rethinking my trades though. I could do a bit of a shuffle around that time I think and make it work a little better. Do something like Martin out, Feeney moving up to half, Guth to WFB and CLaw into the team.

Sticking with Cam for me, every week. Plus he scored a 76 in round 2 vs the Titans, granted that was at AAMI Park though.

Wait, I can go deeper. Guth to WFB, Green to CTR and then CLAW to 2nd row... for now. I'm no longer sure how good of an idea it is, as the thought of moving so many players around sounds fun and has distracted me.

I think i'll keep Mitchell as my 4th reserve and Blaw unless Parcell is named to start.

So i'll have Parcell/Blaw, Thompson, Jturbo and Mitchell
