Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 28
Ahhhh balls, if I want to do all that I also need to find another 40k (probably more, it was some quick glance napkin maths) in my 2nd trade, all whilst either replacing a red dot or getting a good bye player in....

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 28
I think Parcell will start and play good minutes.
Also, I've gone Taylor to Semi, and it looks pretty good. Means I have 3 Eels in the backline along with Gordon and Guth, which is a bit overkill, but the three big bye rounds, it means that position is sorted.
Also, wanting to pull the trigger on Hastings to Bunt but I might wait. I think the Sharks actually might be able to restrict the halfs quite a bit in this game.

I thought Mataora misses at least one week no matter what. I think he pleaded guilty for the one week.

God dam.
Every time I think I bringing in a player, I check round 12, and they dont play.

IF my planned trades over the next few weeks take place and get lucky with injuries should have 14 or 15 for round 12, although that includes as couple of low scorers. Then 17 or 18 for Round 13, then 12/13 for both Round 15 and 18, but maybe pick up an extra one or two along the way. Have banked three trades so far.
Wondered if this is above/below/on average compared to others.
I have 2 more trades (barring injuries) to make between now and round 12 of merrin to debalin/cooper/frizell (who ever I can afford) and parcel to peats (may look at friend depending on minutes, only plays 2 byes but if he averages more I will be ahead). This will have me at
Round 12 =13
Round 13 = 19 (kennar/asiata will drop out of 17)
Round 15 = 13
Round 16 = 18 (if I upgrade BLaw to someone from sharks, roosters, panthers or eels at this point, asiata drops out of 17)
Round 18 = 15
Round 19 = 16 (need to upgrade one of Bhana, Asiata, Holland or Whitehead this round to get 17 players)
If I get any bargain trade ins between now and round 12 for BHenry or Feeney those numbers will increase.
should note, I have got James Roberts and fergs included in those numbers. Either or both could end up playing origin and screw me over.
If Roberts is picked, I cop it on the chin and don't trade him out. Fergs will be traded out in a heartbeat to Aitken/lolohea who should both be fergs price by then

Bad idea to go Walker to KNiko and hope that KNiko can get his price up to where Walker is before McCullough is back?

My current trades are Aubo to K Niko and Flash to B Hunt. I'm not sure if they can wait a week though, Aubo's up against the Knights and their right side defence is non-existent so he could nab a try assist or two and Gordon's best score of the year was against the Dogs.

I'll probably keep Gordon but have him as a NPR, so expect a 50.

I think its important to mention that Blaw without that one huge play would only have scored 29
53 - 8 (try) - 12 (4 tacklebusts) - 4 (linebreak) = 29
which is consistent with his previous two weeks of 25 and 30. his reduced minutes have hurt his ability to get into the 40s. his breakeven is 19 which isnt too bad. but that could have been 3 weeks in a row where he scored 30 or less so there may not be much room for further growth unless injury happens. I'm gonna keep him this week, but bhana looks real juicy at the moment

Was going to downgrade Grant to Bhana, but then byes abd all that stuff happened.
Although Grant has been shit house while Woods has been injured anyway
So basically Walker > KNik and Grant > Bhana.
Leaves me with 235k in the bank and KNik in as a starting half, although 19 trades left scares me

Decided to save my trades for this week, 22 left. 348th overall - 'me 3 months from now' will be very thankful.
Just means the next few days will be very uneventful

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 28
Ok ok, lunch break well spent.... or not. I've come to the idea that my above plan to go TMM -> CLaw is a good one and that to find that money I'll have to downgrade/side trade Grevs or Parker. The other is probably gone next week. I'm hitting a brick wall with what to do there though as my Raiders Bias keeps getting in the way.
Parker -> Fensom and Grevs -> Bateman are the two best options I can see, but I'm sure there must be some other non Raider options. Need to make me good money, play some bye rounds and be currently underpriced..... not asking much O_o

I too am keen to know this. Fanhub entered him into the system at bottom price but with a lower break even from what he scored over the weekend. I'm considering trading him out for Green. Mainly because he is DPP and its 36k I can put to use somewhere.
BUT Lima and Soli aren't too far off. I think Tapine stays in the side Bateman and Priest miss out
