Souths playing 1st this week is really putting a spanner in the works for me.

Want to bring J Bird in for HHunt, Dont have enough cash for that, so trading TMM out, not sure who for.

Is BLaw - Bhana a silly move? I think it is but...?

So I feel K-Nik could be a trap but he allows a better upgrade for Grant. I need to get rid of Macca. I also would like to Keep Grant but to field a good 17 I have to sell. Thoughts on these 2 sets of trades & which one do you like.

    (a) Going with K-Nik:
    Macca & Grant out - K-Nik & Tolman in
    (b) Going with Hodgson:
Macca & Grant out - Hodgson & Bhana in
    Thanks

Re Priest - I think MF is on the mark. Soli and Lima are both due back next week or the following from memory. I think Priest will stick around and train with the FG squad, possibly appearing on an extended bench every now and then to keep the others on their toes, but won't see too many games barring injury. Did well though.

I guess Bateman is in much the same boat, though I sort of expect Vaughan to get a look in come origin time with Bateman being the benefactor re minutes. Now that I've typed it out though that's probably a big and risky assumption to make given my current bye numbers. Ok so, thats Bateman out... If only Tapine was given DPP I'd pick him up.

Right then, non Raider front rowers to trade Grevs to, who will make me cash, are undervalued and play some bye rounds.... gee this field is getting smaller by the minute!

With the return of Lima and Soli I think this is how we look, with hopefully FPN being banished for good. Possibly Boyd/Vaughan is swapped for Lima/Soli if Ricky wants a mix of experience.

    8. Vaughan
    9 Hodgson
    10. Boyd
    11 Papa
    12 Whitehead
    13 Fensom
    14 Baptiste
    15 Soli
    16 Lima
    17 Tapine

    Then depth is hopefully
    18. Bateman
    19. Priest
    20. Barnett (dude does not seem like he will get a shot this year though, must have shit in Ricky's cornflakes)

    Hahaha!

I think that's pretty much what it looks like. What the hell happens next year when Paulo comes across?

Its a good week to save trades if in doubt.

Take advantage of next week's rep round. Gives injured players an extra week to recover, and gives rep players an extra week to get injured.

I must admit I am slightly tempted by Radradra.

Fensom and Tolman aren't likely to shoot up massively in price, you can probably wait a week on them (although getting the points might be nice)

Otherwise, just sit back and fantasise about having traded in Tohu Harris, Jake Friend or Jordan Rapana 3 weeks ago

I would go Mooper if u can afford it, or Tolman. Both bottomed out. Also think Tapine has injured himself, pretty sure only played 10 mins hence Bateman got 40 mins last week. FPN probably 18th man for Tapine

There is absolutely zero job security on the Knights pack at the moment. not that Manly look much better with their prop rotation, but Bhana just not necessarily going to keep getting big scores.

Newcastle have had early injuries in the backline past 2 weeks, so have effectively been playing with 1 less forward in the rotation.

Is Cartwright - Tolman a silly trade to be making in a few rounds time? Thinking a few rounds ahead.

Also, if people are looking for a cash out in the WFB. Curtis Rona is now under $200k.

He's nearly bottomed out so if you think he can go close to replicating last years form (averaged 34, admittedly with a buttload of tries) at some point, might be worth a look.

Paulo will replace Lima I think. Makes for a very strong pack if they all play to their potential.

If it's purely for bye coverage than yes. Tolman plays only one more bye round than Cartwright and while Tolman has to start hitting regular 50's sooner than later he's not showing any signs currently he'd be a significant upgrade on Cartwright.

Oh Boyd is going nowhere that's for sure. I don't mind JWH but he's an upgrade rather than downgrade and I need the cash, also doesn't play rd 12 which is when I'm most fucked.

Hmm, Definitely been looking at Mooper, but unless I go Parker to Mooper rather than Grevs, I won't have the cash for other planned trades. Feel like there is too big of a gap between Mooper and Parker to justify it wheras Fensom -> Parker are much much closer and still gives me plenty of cash. Tapine did injure himself and I think you are right about FPN being 18th man for him but on the other hand Ricky said in the Presser that Tapine would be sweet and could have come back on had they needed him so it can't be too serious.

Hmm.. food for thought, cheers for the suggestions all. Going to be a tough week.
