Yeah neither, Hodgson has just exploded this year and shown his class. I think we could get away without a utility on the bench, given we have players like Hodgson, Wighton and Whitehead who can fill in the halves in a pinch, as well as Austin who can play all over the park.

I wouldn't mind Bateman replacing Baptiste in that team I mentioned and next year having Paulo there, think we have the cattle for it. Just don't think Ricky will head there, not this year anyway.

Only 17 available players this week, going no trades and hopefully the vision is clearer next week.

Thanks for the Bateman info, Archer.

Thinking maybe I should go with my gut which was to bring in Bhana over Bateman, by trading TTurbo out this week instead of HHunt?
    So that would be:
TTurbo to JTurbo (sorry little bro)
    JSaifiti to Bhana.

I know any Knights player is a risk, and he has bad byes, but is he less risky than Batemans? Someone playing with bad byes is better than a red dot with good byes.
I'm also hesitant to get rid of Tom first due to the lack of info about his injury. Has anyone seen an official report? Lots of stories by no real source that I can find. There's nothing on the Manly website. I worry that he might only miss a few games and I'll still have Hymel sitting there by the time he back. I was planning on Tom being a keeper for my team.
Anyone have any words of wisdom?

    Found this on stuff.co.nz.....

The NRL club, second last on the NRL ladder, said it wasn't able yet to provide a timeframe for Mullen's recovery. However a grade three hamstring strain is typically a recovery period of up to 12 weeks.

Hodkinson will need to do alot of kicking

The second tweet is about Whare, the third tweet is about Waqa Blake. So Whare out for the season, Blake for one game.

    Trading out woods to tolman/fensom

Is fensoms minutes going to get affected with the return of soliola or is fensom guaranteed 70minutes?

The guy who mentioned Yeo as an option earlier in this thread the above is why no1 really replied or considered it. Bad byes and always a chance to play centre or move to centre during games.

Am hoping Yeo goes to centre this week, (with Waqa Blake injured for one week and Dean Whare out for season), which could mean some decent minutes for JFH. Expecting Peachey to start though.
Also this would hopefully increase Merrins minutes again

JFH not worth the trade in??

Was thinking trade option 42 could be

    Walker > KNik
Feeney > JFH via so many DPPs

But then again that's just point chasing

Such a shame to see Dean Whare out for the season. Such a talented centre and could potentially be number 1 in the game at some point. Greg Inglis said Whare was the toughest player he's come up against. Best defensive centre in the game no doubts. Pity he's made of glass.

I was thinking of a possible Evans --> JFH trade also. But his scores before last week are horrid. Not sure if last weeks performance would get his minutes up either.

He's also one of the best centres at setting up his winger.

So many tries for the winger playing outside him.

    Scores of 12, 17, 13, 21, 21, 11, 72. Looks like it was a fluke.
