    Each week without Smith/Friend is losing points big time.

    Can you afford not to upgrade?
    Surely you are not suggesting to trade in an over priced Friend now? I expect his scores will drop with JWH and Pearce back. Might not play as many mins either. (I hope thats not the case however)

    How do AE's work ? My reserve was on Parcell, so do I get my worst performing non player in any position ?

    Spot on. You get the lowest score from your playing npr's.

    Is there any news on the Lolohea injury? Time frame? I woke up to his 1 this morning and I dropped 125 spots to 651 Sad.

    It should show up who your AE was? IIRC it cannot be a negative AE rather your lowest scoring player with a score above zero.

    Lowest positive score, any position. (so if you had Waqa Blake's -3 in your NPRs you'd be safe from that counting)

    I want to sell Ferguson but then I look at the byes & also hoping the return of Pearce, JWH will benefit him. I want to sell Grant because of his injury doubt & thinking knee/hamstring problems on such a big frame could be a problem. However I've fallen into this trap of hastily selling injured players before & it's come back to bite & he also plays round 12 & is getting more minutes with Woods out. I might look at other options.

    Gallen is looking like a reasonable bet at the moment.

    Knights / Roosters halves will make interesting reading when team lists are published.

    Yep, highly likely. Unfortunately for us fantasisers we don't get to see team changes until 1 hour before kick offs, unless there is a guaranteed injury or suspension. TLT's have turned into a waste of time and effort

    Who gets the "Carter" award this week. Surely it will be Symonds for his 18 negative points this week. 5 missed tackles, 2 errors and 2 penalties.

    Narrowly beats fellow team mate Matai who had 17 negative points

    I think they're going to be very important for a few of us.

    I am carrying:

    V.Leuluai
    Gavet
    Taylor/Cullen (one plays, one doesn't)
    Feeney
    Henry
    HHunt
    T-Turbo

    So I pretty much have 18 guys who hopefully all play, Gutherson/Saifiti being my 18th man.

    Then there's always a chance that Stanley comes back for Holland or Carter gets dropped or Hastings gets benched then I'm going to be in some trouble.

    Thinking of saving my trades if I can as I'm ranked well but my halves are a mess and I need a Ben Hunt in there pronto + some kind of depth.

    Mate, you'll be pleased to know Carter won't be dropped, he's been suspended. http://www.nrl.com/blair-carter-face-one-match-bans/tabid/10874/newsid/95224/default.aspx

    That would be Auva'a 19. The font is a different colour. It's the mauve of the reserve's bar.

    Johnny B Goode wrote:With Hastings the truth of the matter is he was never meant to be the dominant playmaker this year but after Pearce royally fucked up he had to take up the mantle. I've defended him as much as I can to other fans but there's no denying his kicking game is quite poor and his decision making isn't too good either.
    Matterson had a good game and looked threatening. In some ways he'd complement Pearce better than Hastings would but it's one game. Hastings is our goal-kicker and he's very familiar with the players and the system. Without that added pressure of being the main playmaker he should do better just like when he had Maloney alongside him.

    To me, I would drop L Mitchell and put Hastings back there as he has safe hands, good support and goal kicking with Matterson and Pearce to come in to halves. Think Latrell needs more time in the lower grades personally, very poor positionally and lazy on support play.

    Help a brother out.

    PatMat --> Lamb via DPPs
    AND
    Latrell --> Semi OR Munster
    OR
    Parcell --> Friend/Smith

    Will be able to do the other trade next week with 250k in the bank.
