Ahhh, interesting.  Was looking at Seggy as a possible Parcell upgrade in a couple of weeks, that looks like I'll stay away.

Pretty sure I will be going Parcell to Peats for round 12 and probably making money out of it. Peats should be back to 80 mins over this period with B Scott out for origin you would think.

I don't see anything urgent that needs to be taken care of. Like you said Taylor/Evans/Blaw/Saifiti and Hastings have all peaked or almost peaked so you have plenty of cash there to buy a couple of keeper GUNS. Maybe bring in someone like Graham/Tolman or if you are after a POD of sorts try Frizell. Maybe swap Taylor for Radradra as he has bottomed out and will be handy during the byes.

I want to bring in a couple PODs just so there's something different heading into the lead in. I'm aiming to have my final 17 just before the end of Origin and then hopefully just trade for injuries.

    G. AE (save a trade)

DCE doesn't have high ownership and scored well on his return without doing much. Could be a great POD in the coming weeks.
Really liking the look of Pearce for the same reason and am thinking of picking him up should he not be selected for Origin.

Although I've said fuck it to the byes and just want to get my final 17 ASAP.

I seriously think saying fuck it to round 12 will help you in the long run. Bringing in cheap players like Asiata who will definitely make cash during the bye period is better than buying mid-priced players just because they have byes.

I now have a keeper back 5 and don't care too much for byes. Will trade non-keepers and cash cows only during this period to make money.

Have locked in 13 players of Smith, Fifita, JTrobjevic, Surgess, JDB, Merrin, Whitehead, Mannering, BJ Leilua, Croker, Tedesco, Munster and Dugan and will generate more keepers and cash from the other 12 positions.

Am eyeing up JGraham, Peats, Fensom, Norman for round 12 and DCE, Johnson in round 13.

yep. got blaw ~300k (hopefully goes up to $350), Hunt $270k, Guthy 225k... total of $455k (less nuffies) and i need to bring in C Smith (prob upgrade Parcell) and turn hastings into a gun half and probably bring in one more gun.

    Parcell - smith: $200k
    Hastings - Bhunt: $130k
    Blaw - gun: $150k

    Total: $480k.

Would give me a team of:

    Smith Liicha
Fifita, Graham, Brom/Gallen (R).... and a NPR of Tolman
SBurgess, JDB, Parker, J Turbo (R), Whitehead (R)
    Johnson, Hunt
    Holland, Claw
    Mitchell, Barba, Tedesco

Ideally need to find another 300k - 400k to bolster up the reserves in the backs.

21 trades left after this round.

Forgot about Scott being out, that should make Peats workload increase you would think.

Does anyone think the Dogs gameplan might change a little.  Work more towards Cornish's side more now that Foran is out.  Foran's defence seemed good last week if I remember rightly.  And Holland would be up against Jennings, who is on Norman's side isn't he?  Good for Holland if that's the case.

Regarding the warriors, surely whether or not it is ok for players to go out on a weekday night or not is already locked in stone, especially established long servers would know. Makes me wondwr how bad some internal stuff is when they disregard it so casually early in the season.

And what are the chances a group of mates go out for dinner and literally a couple of 'needles' (beers) and thats regarded as a raging night out ?

Hmmm....that's a great idea, didn't cross my mind. Mansour's last dance, come on mate, be the gun we all know you can be.

Not that I'd buy Mansour or Radradra (terrible for H2H imo + wingers just generally are shit), but I'd be keeping Mansour for the next few weeks at least. Averaging just below keeper status and has the Warriors and Titans coming up after this weekend.

His terrible byes and playing Storm and Manly away probably make a good time to trade after that though.

It's becoming a bit more apparent what went down. The 6 of them went out on the piss Tuesday night until 3:00am but then missed the team meeting the next day - the debrief of the Storm game. The missed meeting is what sparked the clubs investigation and they subsequently found out about the night out.

Since then, dumb arse Hurrell has retweeted some chicks tweet which says: @lanita77 Six Warriors do no show to review hui. Id say thats a review of the coach in itself #faithgone #tautokotheboys  @konmanhurrell @ManuVatuvei. That's since been deleted but speaks to the point you are making about the internal stuff and lack of respect for the club and coach. Matulino, Manu and Konrad have all been around since Bluey took over in '12 which is when apparently all this undermining of all the coaches started. One can read between the lines that the missed meeting and piss up is just the catalysts for the club trying to put their foot down when it comes to the lack of respect for the club, coach, and management. IMO if the club has any nuts and if what is being reported and speculated is true they should dump all 3 of them.

That means Burgess and the garbo out. Still room on the bench for a utility. Matterson to start with Hastings to bench to spell Friend for a bit? or possibly the other way around. Robo might do what he did with Guerra, he subbed him off the last 20 or so with Nikorima coming in Othen Guerra back on a bit later for a forward, or something like that. Might be the same with Matterson and Hastings.
