730/12 including captain Cam. Up 100 places to 60th but only have 5 high ownership players (Barba, JGraham, Holland, Hastings, Mitchell) to go so expect to drop back a bit.

Very similar here, 525/8 with Smith (c).Milchcow wrote:I'm 529/8 (including Captain Cam)
Promising start, Mansour's 42 is my lowest score. But I've still got the dodgiest players in my 17 to come so not sure if I can keep up the high rate of scoring.
Now if only I had Leilua, Tohu or a few more of the recent big scorers.
Going to be some monster scorers this round in any case
Still to come Fifita, Graham, Aubusson, Mbye, Lamb, Lawrence, Holland, Barba and Mitchell.
Happy knowing I have $250k to upgrade Taylor to DCE and one of Aubbs, Lawrence or Holland next week to any position bar hooker or half.

Jai Arrow actually scored 18.
Fan League hasn't picked up his score for some reason.

Im the same. Bit of a consolidation this week. But $382k in the war chest. Whats the spread of Guns/Keepers that we are aiming for come seasons end?
Im guessing
2 x HOK
3 x FRF
4 x 2RF
2 x HLF
2 x CTR
3 x WFB
Then 1 more reserve accross any position. Is that the general consesus about what we should be aiming for?

I think it comes down to individual preference.Sik wrote:

I like to have cover in every position.
Someone like Gutherson can cover both WFB and CTR.
Plenty of DPP FRF/2RF's around also.
I'd add another half in your list though.

Yeah I know. But what i mean is... Obviously the aim is to have 17 gun/keeper players in as soon as possible. Is there a general formula that everyone works to? Or just go to where the good players are?

Ideally 18 guns an the rest 100% non playing $130k red dots. So if a player is last minute out, no stress. And if a player is injured for a week only also no stress.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 32
So 18x450 is 8.1mil, plus 7x130k is 910k
So team needs to be valued somewhere between 9 and 9.5 yeah?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 32
I just noticed that C.Munster received no points for that try saving tackle on Winterstein in that last 10 minutes of play. While T.Harris got the 5 points and rightly so, as he finished off that tackle, I thought for sure if it wasn't for what Munster did, Winterstein surely would have scored, which to me, it means that C.Munster saved that try.
Do they give try save points to more than 1 player for the same incident ?
What has happened when 3 players hold up someone in the in goal. Does that constitute
a try save ?
I've never paid attention to this before.

Fensom news
Fensom hurt his left shoulder putting pressure on a Benji Marshall kick but is confident he'll be fit to play the Warriors.
Veteran forwards Sia Soliola (arm) and Jeff Lima (hand) are also a chance to return after long absences.
"It's a bit sore, [but] I've got half decent strength in it and it doesn't feel too bad," Fensom said. "I went to put pressure on Benji and got my shoulder in an awkward position when I hit him, because I was worried about taking him out after he'd kicked the ball.
"We've got good physios here and I'll work around the clock icing it and that sort of thing to get it back on track."

Good news about Fensom
Regarding team value, sitting at total value of 9.15 mil (316k of that is in bank)
Everyone has beaten their BE as well, some have doubled it this week too so probably a 200k+ increase next week so things are looking alright.
Disclaimer: Value of keepers doesn't really mean anything, only handy on a season ending injury
Downsides are that I have traded every week replacing injured players, but coming close to a final team.
