Okay so Mansour has been average of late yet produced a 40 on the weekend which was nice. Hold or trade him on to someone like Radradra who appears to be on the up (last 3 round average of 52). Radradra will also be handy come the byes. Thoughts?

Hastings still on 34 huh? With 50% ownership, you'd think they'd be even more careful to get it right.

I see they went back and added a point to JBrom. Important update there.

I'm keeping him I think. I'll probably keep him all year the way it looks. His 42 on the weekend was from not too much really, so he definitely has the potential. If Panthers can get some confidence and keep getting some wins, it should help him.

Ferguson 6 MT's ffs!!  Would have been a 39 without those which for the performance is a solid score.

They gave him a MT for contesting a bomb when both he and Don(?) came down with it and Don ripped it free Rolling Eyes

They credited him with the TS though, but not the TB.

    Missed Aub's error too.

Basically, they can't score correctly for shit.

I think SST could get good minutes Rnd13-19, Origin byes in 15 and 18, and Cordner/Guerra maybe with reduced minutes backing up in 13/19. Can't remember what happened last year.

    I have access at the moment to BE's and here are some interesting ones IMO;

    Smith 61
    Friend 65
Parcell 35 (still quite a bit of money making potential)
Macca 68 (gonna be dirt cheap when he returns)

    Vaughn 31
    Mooper 40
    Tolman 41
    Klemmer 23
Grant 23 (too late for him maybe?)
    Blaw 31 (just about peaked)
    Evans 50 (sell quick)

Parker 65 (thought it might have been a little higher)
    Fensom 51
    Harris 41 (holy shit)
    Whitehead 31
Friz 45 (could wait a week)
Cartwright 42 (peaked unless another big game)
    Taumalolo 43 (possible option)
    Mau 44
    Claw 43 (well peaked)
    ET 57 (wait a week)
    WGraham 22

    Milf 49
Hunt 63 (Could wait a week too)
    Hastings 44 (should be achievable)
    DCE 43
    ARey 51
    Bird 46
    Taylor 38 (sell)

    BJ 7 (wow)
    Croker 17
    Dugan 61
    Aubbs 48 (sell)
    Aitken 28
    Lolohea 39
Ferguson 28 (shouldn't lose money anyway)

    Munster 42
    Radradra 14
    Mitchell 32
    Rapana 27
    Barba 39
    Holmes 0
    Mansour 39
Gutherson 18 (can keep for byes)
    Toutai -6
    Lee 0
    Phillips 3

A lot of guys can at least wait a week with some of these.

OK with the byes coming up real close I guess the most common issues for us players is the Smith and Parcell combo conundrum. We all want friend in at some point in the final 17, so the question is when is the best time to bring him in, maximise his bye schedule and also account for parcells money to be made.

I am leaning towards a Smith to friend trade rd 13. If they both average 65, friend will score 325 by round 18 vs smiths 260. parcell, if he keeps averaging 50 will slowly move up to 500k value by the time origin is over and will post 250 because he plays one round.

This has a lot of assumptions. Smith could play less minutes or be rested for some games. I'm not sure about the history over this period.

Smith to friend, then parcell to smith rnd19 you will gain 100k and 10 points but you will lose an extra trade (2trades total).

the other alternative is parcell to friend (rd13) and hold smith. which will mean you spend 1 trade lose 10 points. but more importantly lose the opportunity of gaining that 100k.

This depends on whether parcell will make 100k in 6 weeks, perhaps someone can do the maths but that how i see things at the moment. Feel free to add or criticise this

Without trades and assuming Fensom is in and no Taupau or Saifiti, this will probably be my 17:

    Smith (Friend)
    Graham, Surgess
    Parker, Whitehead, Fensom (Carter)
    Hastings, Taylor (Lamb)
    Dugan, Holland
    Semi, Barba, Mitchell (Gutherson)

18 trades left. Could bring in Hunt for Taylor and/or Harris for Saifiti but Harris isn't bye friendly.
Might wait it out a a week.

Trades I'm most considering this week.
    Holland > BJ
    Taupau > Frizell

    Smith(c) Parcell
    JTurbo Surgess Tolman (Blake)
Mannering Frizell Whitehead Cartwright (Henry Leuluai)
    Milford Johnson Hastings (Feeney)
    BJ Auvaa (Gutherson Kennar)
    Munster Mitchell Barba (Mansour Scott)

    Next week Mansour > ET

Any reason to keep Holland now? It feels like he's peaked and not really a keeper either - BE 41 this week

Thinking of trading him for Croker or Aitken (my other CTR is BJ)
Aitken has the better byes but Croker looks to be the better keeper

If I did Croker would be left with $127k and 16 trades

Team just for interest sake as well...

    Smith Parcell
    JBrom JGraham Tolman BLaw
Surgess JTrbo Fensom Carty Whitehead Batman
    Hunt Hastings Lamb Feeney
    BJ Croker(?) Guth PatMat
    Barba Munster Mitchell Eden Vunivalu

The Jaifiti injury (who I was gonna hold on to for end 12), and Taupau's idiocy have kinda thrown 2 massive spanners in my plans.

I guess I am forced to hold Taupau seeing as I have so few trades left. But who would you guys upgrade Jaifiti too? I'm thinking Fritz mainly cause he plays the first two bye rounds. What chances does he have of playing origin though? Or Could ET be a better option given his price tag?

And who do you think is the best cash out option for BLaw? Again, preferably someone who has a good bye schedule and will play minutes. I'm thinking Kaufusi or Ese'ese - any other good options?
