Hastings was a stinker but thankfully updates to Captain Friend will push me up to 907, which is 3 points past my previous best. Woo! 4 weeks since that first 900+ score, I was starting to think I would never get there again.

Lamb. I guess I might have picked guth over him but it's unlikely. Think lamb is a safer choice so would have gone that. Ah well.

I wasn't worried about new recruit Tolman's 40. He sometimes comes back on about 60m for Graham and stays on, but I assumed because it was Graham's 100th game, Des brought him back on for the last 10 or so mins. Shame he hooked Tolman who was fresher than others though.

Realistically when is Friend actually going to start dropping in price? He just will not stop scoring insanely high. He's over 600k, had a BE of 54 which he got once again. Even if it goes up to 70 next week I'd still back him to get close to it.
I originally planned to ditch Rein after Bye Round 1 to get Friend but at the rate he's going you'd need to sell half your cash cows just to get close to him.

I don't see Whitehead as a must have, even as a Whitehead owner I am skeptical of having him as Soliola and Lima are both returning.

HOK - If you plan or want J. Friend you can wait on him. As long as M. Parcell is playing big minutes, it doesn't make sense to make the trade until Round 18 (Roosters finish their byes, while M. Parcell is on the bye.) Plus the chances the price difference decreases.) So hold off on that trade as long as possible. (If Friend's price drops considerably or Koroisau is on the Manly bench then look at trading sooner.)

FRF - Solid pack with J. Bromwich and J. Graham. B. Lawrence will be a sell either this week or the next as due to the minutes he is playing he has capped out. Tolman and Cooper could be solid options. As could Mannering and Frizell via. Surgess/Trbojevic.

2RF - Is Taupau a trade if he missed 4-6 weeks for you? If so probably look at some of the guys I have been listing above at options for you. Whitehead is an option that will only be more expensive next week. As I said I am on the fence about him, but if you want to grab him. Make sure you do it this week.

HLF - No real concerns or pressing matters to worry about here.

CTR - Again solid, Ferguson could be a trade with Origin and some low scores but there aren't any must have CTR's.

WFB - Solid, if you can get Tedesco for end of year I would try to.

If Taupau and B. Lawrence both turn out to be trades for you, you could look at the following trades.

    - for M. Cooper + E. Taylor (If you want to risk it and grab him a week early.)
    - for anyone you want + Nuffie (Maybe Ese'ese for over Origin period) The extra cash can start to bridge the gap from Friend and Parcell
    - Mannering/Frizell + T. Grant (Could be helpful for byes.)

    Smith, Parcell
    Graham, Tolman, BLaw, Grant
Whitehead, Surgess, Fensom, Cartwright, Aubbuson, Mataora
    Hastings, Barba, Lamb, Littlejohn
    Holland, Ferguson, Lolohea, Scott
    Munster, Semi, Mitchell, Gutherson, Feeney

Have quite a bit of money but don't know if I should be conserving trades atm or not.
Team is fairly healthy last time I checked, any thoughts on where I should go from here?

Cheers Random that's bloody good feedback. Taupau would definitely get the axe if he has to sit out for 4 weeks or more and I'm tempted to have a go at ET.

Also JFH doing his job. Still has a negative BE and made 120k so far. Glad I held onto him all season.

I'm looking at either Friz, W.Graham, or Tauk if he starts this week. But with Cordnor back, there's no way he'll be an 80 minute player again hey?
