I like those cojones.
What are others doing with their VC.
For me 60+ is clear loophole.
Under 50 think I'll take my chances with my C.
50-60 becomes a tough choice. Might just bank it but will be tempting to roll the dice

How many trades would that leave you with? You should have a few up your sleeve right?
They seem like good moves - I'd just be keeping an eye on Parcell as his minutes when Koroisau is playing can be unknown - It's nice to have two good hookers just in case one goes down...
Solid team for H2H though - keeping trades set up for the finals is really important though as a few injuries can really stuff you up.
i would trade parcel for smith and run with 1 hooker. after my two trades next week i wil hv 11 left

Semi was almost over the line a few times but Melbourne's wall was too solid. Without Semi's silly errors he would have had close to a 40 point game. One try would have resulted in a 50 point game, so I like those odds against the Knights. Should bust a few extra tackles too.
60 as I said is the guide for me too. 50-60 I agree is though and I think if Milf goes over 50, I'll probably take it, but going Milf cause I know if he has another 30 pointer, I'd have no issues with gambling on Semi, but then Milford could get 80, he rarely goes in between.

Anyone know how long Bruce Cartwright is out for?
Might flick him for James Graham or someone of he'll be out for more than a week or two

My thinking exactly... Semi seems to have hit his stride... and against the Knights I reckon he'll bag a few tries

Fuck, I forgot about him, there was no solid info on the injury was there? I'll trade him next week if he's out, hopefully not, I'd like to hold him

I have never really taken a risk in my captains since playing this game. This is my third year and it's always been Smith, Surgess or a 50 point forward. My ranking is shit so I'm thinking it's time for a big gamble. I hope I don't pull out tonight and just go for it.

You're going for Smith which is the safest option, but just incase he doesn't play or whatever, you don't have a backup and sub in. Most people run with two hookers and play both. If your main hooker doesn't play you can sub you bench hooker in and chuck the R on someone else and still have 17 solid players. If you don't you have to go with it and get an AE.

Others putting the C on Semi makes me feel more confident, yet you have Hunt as the VC, my Milf is much more of a gamble. No way Hunt should score below 50.

Milf could easily go +80 but so could Bunt and only one I see as a keeper

Remember not to double count difference if loophole backfires. If C outscores VC that you loophole by 15pts you've missed out on 15 not 30. See this all the time even in normal weeks when people regret C/VC choice

This is exactly why I think people think the loophole is cheating more than it actually is. VC going 60 and C going 70 is really no big deal. It's an advantage but not as much as people confuse themselves by. The only way it fucks you if you play your captain and they go down in the first quarter of the game.

i think anything over 60 from hunt tonight and i'll loophole with james graham my captain. graham should score 60 himself but that bloke is always a headknock risk, so why not lock in a solid score when i can.

This was another reason I was reluctant to pay over 500K for him, he is very prone for concussions. I know you can't predict that stuff and it can happen with any player but last year I remember he missed so much game time.
