Yeah I am about 200 ahead at the moment + updates. Only difference in teams is they have bhana. Should end up with a decent lead at the end of the round.

Yeah realise it's not a surprise just saw a thread on the GH saying it was now done (still with nothing to back it up) interestingly the same thread had someone saying knights will have to release someone though as they have used 33/33 players already this year. Not sure if it's true but if so its just another example of how silly the cap is "policed"SI wrote:
It was thrown around during the week but yeah, nothing official.

With the trades I have planned I think I have 14 in r15 if friz plays, 16 in r18 and 16 in r19. I will have 17 in the other rounds. But there is a lot that can change between now and then.

Awesome stuff mate, do you tend to do well each year?
Can I ask what trades you made for this round?

If he gets picked at 2nd row for the knights I might have to find space for him I think. Gun player and at that price seems far too good to pass up despite shitty byes

Tends to hit the app within 2 and a half to 3 hours after full time. Normally closer to the 2 and a half but occasionally, like last night, they drag out.
Figured Ramesh and Sandeep would have been super quick this weekend, but maybe they take it in turns for Annual Leave on bye rounds?

Another novice question. I saw a couple people posting about what sounded like a group competition. I.e. this forum vs renegades vs who ever else has a big group of teams together. How does that work? Would be interested to find out and maybe get involved next season if I'm good enough.

@StuDogg101 I was only just making that Sportal v Fanatics thread count calculation a couple of days ago as well. Travelling very well for our 1st full season here. The record on Sportal was 13 threads at 200 pages in 2014. We would have hit that last year as well if Admin didn't destroy the place in the 2nd half of the year.

This was my thinking also. Maybe he was just getting eased back into it. I'll give him one more week, he looked solid enough today.

My best finish previously was about 500th (got as high as 64th during the year) a few years ago. I usually end up in the top 2000 at the end of the year but I have only ever been a h2h player with my mates from work.
I made 3 trades this round mainly because I had managed to save a few up until this point. This week I traded smith to Hodgson, benry to et and lamb to Hughes. Only trade I was uncertain about was smith out but I think Hodgson should out score him until r19 when I am planning on trading him out

Go to the rankings tab on the fantasy site and look at verified leagues. It has leagues for each club team, plus renegades and (ex-sportal) Fantasy Fanatics.
In previous years other groups like Legends, Weapons have also had verified leagues, but this year looks like just us and renegades.
Unfortunately this year we got the wrong league put up on the site (blame Random!) so instead of being 1st, we are down near the bottom.
If you want to help out all you have to do is join the ranked sportal leagues next year, and you'll be in. We take all comers, no need for worrying about passing some imaginary quality barrier.
There is also rankings for all H2H leagues, but the NRLFF leagues kind of suck this year, and we don't seem to have any in the top 50.

Jeepers, it's like you are a fortune teller mate. Well done! I have all three guys you traded in this week, all did pretty well huh! I don't get to watch a lot of the games but when I did switch on I was happy to see Hodgson playing almost (in not the full) 80min despite Baptise getting a decent run.
It was a shame Asiata didn't get more minutes I thought he looked good for NQ.
Good luck mate, hope you win!

The other things to note is that we have much mroe freedom here
Most people at sportal couldn't create new threads, and the constant alt-bickering in the rest of the site meant that pretty much everyone only checked the fantasy thread and nothing else.
This year though we also have several separate threads that would have been part of the main fantasy thread last year (rate-my team, Pacey vs Finchy, Boozecluez blog, etc) which would add up to an extra 100 pages or more . So we are well on track for our best year ever.
Hopefully Tark can maintain his lead and we can claim 2 champions in a row.

Going great guns tark.
Trading Smith out is a ballsy move. Hope it pays off for you. Other 2 were great moves.
