Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 39
Watching Milf last night, I think he was to predictable, and i hope he snaps out of it. Many a time he runs a very similar line, sort of diagonal sideways whilst holding off or hesitating the pass and then throwing the cutout. But loterally a few times he did it, it looked identical.
The player he is will come through this and cut up teams any day, but thought the above was noticeable.

I know - if he'd only made half of them (which would still be a pretty poor effort) he'd have scored nearly 50 last night

No top grade footballer should miss 11 tackles in a game. There were less missed tackles in mud bath game between the Roosters and Tigers last week.

Whats a missed tackle worth in terms of fantasy points? Is it -1 or -2?

All errors are -2. Missed tackle, error or penalty conceded.

Paul Carter has signed on for 2 more years of the Paul Carter award at Souths.
Ben Hunt's nod to him last night in respect for the contract extension, clearly.

To be fair on Hunt, Paulo and Vaughan were going hard at him all game and those guys bump off much bigger players regularly. Anyway, whether in rage or depression i decided to gamble and traded out Mataora and Claw for JDB and Talakai. You can thank me later.

Does that mean you only have 18 players this round, I think you may have mentioned it in the last thread. If so, I take it you have JDB? Pretty sure you have Taupau?

I have 17 + Mitchell and Cullen who most likely shouldn't play.
I do have Taupau but no JDB. Sold him on when he first got injured for Jimmy Graham. No regrets.

JDB to Graham was a great trade. Even if he is back a week or 2 early it doesn't mean he is going to start racking up scores straight away.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 39
At some stage again this year I'm going to do an analysis of a players average before I brought them in vs after I brought them in + while I had them against after I traded them out.
I did this two/three years ago to see 90% of players averaged better outside of my team, pretty much proved my KOD status but I don't think I have that anymore.
Might actually have time to do it this weekend for a mid-season analysis.
First few for interests sakes (player, average in team, average out of team)
Woods: 44 vs 45
DCE: 46.25 vs 51.4
Lafai: 30.25 vs 26.17
Ferguson: 26.33 vs 33.22
