Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 39
only 1 trade for me this week - cash out Bateman for Talakai
Reason = his 20 points might come in handy this week and i don't expect him to stay in the team once Sutton gets back in a couple of weeks. Also, the $140k will come in handy !!
This weeks team will be;
Munster, Radradra, Gordon, Mitchell
Dugan, Scott (if they play)
Norman, Johnson, Lolohea
Surgess, Frizell, Taupau, Talakai
Bromwich, Turbo
Rein
possible 16 but probably 14 players this week

Jake Friend set to come crashing back down to earth this round, could be as low as 500k after this week.
Also, time to cash Master Bate-man out? He's reached his climax I would have thought

I'm leaning towards Norman at this stage, would throw it on Johnson in a heartbeat but he plays at the same time as Mannering(c) and i don't think i trust anyone else as much as Mannering.
Mannering as captain and tossing up between Semi or Munster for the VC. Could throw it on Surgess though if he makes a return in time

Good stuff, Captain Fifita came through for you.

1361, down from 615 a fortnight ago. But I can potentially make a bit of that back up this weekend after trades. Gives me a decent 16 and 10 trades afterwards.

Ended up keeping Holland and Claw btw so cheers for that. 898 and up fifteen spots to 34th. Brought in Cleary although he was an NPR. Holland still a possible trade though, I know you think he'll stay, there is a thread on the kennel forum about this very topic, most people think Holland makes way though. Tough call, could go either way.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 39
I'll be lucky to field 11 this week (after 2 trades).
Grant and Pauli (what a waste he was) out, Kaufusi & Munster in.
Only 9 trades left, and no money, but other than Holland (who I'll wait and see on) I've got a passable top 17.

You've out-slatsed me, mate! I've still got 12 left. I'm not feeling too bad about that now haha.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 39
I'm putting the VC on Munster and tossing up whether to go Bodene or J Turbo for captain. Don't have Mannering and Surgess will be too popular so might as well go left of field.
Also I've got 10 trades left and 8 players this week. I wonder if these trades are worth making to take my tally of players up to 10 or if perhaps one or both of them are better left off not being made.
Asiata to Rory O'Brien. Frees up a tiny bit of cash and get someone who will play in 2 remaining bye rounds. Feels like a real waste though, O'Brien's spot ain't assured and it's using up a trade for like what 40 points potentially?
C Scott to Hurrell. I'd consider doing this one purely on the basis that Hurrell could get back to some decent form and start making some cash. Making just this trade though would leave me with only 3k in the bank so can I trust the Hurrellicane?

The mid year controversial trade master, @SI, may have convinced me to pull the trigger this week regardless.
I am considering dropping a bigger bomb on the collective forum, just weighing up the pros and cons and running the scenarios over the next 24 hours. It could be as big as Soliolia out/CLaw in Round 15 last year. Would be fitting that this round marks the 12 month anniversary of that

Be glad you don't live in the States...with a comment like that you'd be flagged for surveillance for sure
Let me guess...planning to sell BJ and drafting Matai back in who has just been faking an injury for the sympathy who will go nuts for the remaining rounds.....close?

Haha, close in the sense that it involves a Raiders player.

Out-slatsed - that's pretty good!
I'd like to have made a few better trade decisions, but my top team at the moment should be competitive, and I've got decent injury cover.
Smith,
Graham, James,
Whitehead, Gillett, Taupau,
Hunt, Norman
BJ, Holland
Tedesco, Munster, Barba/Mitchell
+ 4 reserves from: Parcell, JTrbo, Mau, ET, Cleary
