You do know that wasn't QLD that said that it was the NSW media saying if Nsw 4 series in a row it would be dead. Typical Nsw media gave a few years ammo to the QLDers again

That's weird because I always thought Meninga before game 2 in 2006 said words to the effect of "If we lose, origin is dead", so i looked into it via google, and it appears the closest thing is that Ricky Stuart alleges Chris Close said origin is dead after the thrashing in 2000. Close denies it, saying he said that it is the blackest day ever for QLD in origin history. Stuart says lots of things that are untrue, like when he said Pearce is the best halfback in the world, so I'm inclined to believe he took a bit of poetic license with that quote. Looks like another of those urban legends that have grown over time, like the Choo Choo sledge against Chris Cairns, and "You just dropped the World Cup" to Hershelle Gibbs.

What an absolute prick. No class whatsoever.

NSW should print this out and display it every game and hammer the down sydrome twat.

    Totally agree
Him carrying on at Jackson when he threw it out is just rubbish too, the laugh and stuff... smug cunt. Dislike him more and more.

He's lucky he's good at football because if he wasn't he'd be wearing Monster energy hats and Unit shirts will posting "FUCKIN PIG DOG COPS AY! DRIVIN 150 IN A 30 ZONE AND CUNT DOG CUNTS PULLED ME OVER! FUCK DA POLICE"

Haha. Close, the Unit shirt would have been tied around his waist.

I didn't see him having a go at Jackson. I don't consider that as bad as patting opponents on the head when they make a mistake, but both are pretty poor form, especially since JJ doesn't seem the sledging type. If it was Josh Reynolds, Ennis, Hodges, Pearce etc, who would have been giving all match then they're fair game.

The tweet can only be described as him being a twat. He is rightfully copping all sort of criticism in the media about it. Has he said anything about it or is he just keeping a low profile? I haven't heard the Gallen's brother did it or anything like that, but I also haven't heard him say that he did it when he got carried away and acknowledges he shouldn't have done it.

Still can't believe nobody has said anything about the 7 tackle try that Gagai scored after Boyd got held up. Anyone else catch it?

mcguire has that sledging/rubbing it in after errors etc in him, one of those things that annoys you when you're on the other side of it but when jrey gives it to JT, you don't give a shit lol

worst part with mcguire is unlike most of the other sledgers (the 4 dip named all ring true here) even if you could punch him, you wouldn't.

i thought the tweet was harmless, he deleted the 2nd tweet pretty quickly lol

Because it was a 6 tackle set - Scott, Parker, Scott, Inglis, Boyd (held up), try.

Right you are then, good research Dip, heard a guy speak about it on the big sports breakfast and he was going on and saying he'd watched it 5 times and was sure it was a 7 tackle try, but he was happy as he was a Qld. Should have known Cane-toads cant count!! Razz

Origin will never be dead. Anyone who says such a thing is an idiot. Mark my words NSW WILL have a period where they win multiple series in a row again. That time could very well be just right around the corner. Their time will come.

By what I ment Grade and weeks. I assumed driving Gallen head first into the ground like he was on the farm putting up fence posts wouldn't go unnoticed by the MRC. But as usual the judiciary have made a mockery of themselves so he can play origin 3.

    Code:

To be fair, if you did an IQ test, a fence post would compare quite favourably to Gallen - you can forgive Thaiday for confusing the 2.

I was surprised that they didnt look at Gagais grounding for the one that he bobbled. Fuck it looked like a knock on.
7 tackle set for a try... ah awesome.

Ha yeh the funny thing is HS - Mcguire still does all that shit anyway, dropkick of the highest order.

His carrying on was very Hodges like to Jackson
