hey guys. my team currently sits as

smith,parcell
gallen, fifita, bromwich, graham
mannering, burgess, taylor, lowe, bateman, pangai
reynolds, hunt, milford, hughes
aitken, davis, hurrell, sua
munster, tedesco, inglis, feeny, kennar

i have 9 trades available and 11k.

i was thinking davis to kata or lolohea to strengthen my centres.

downgrade milford to cleary

upgrade lowe to either james, de belin or trbjovic?

any thoughts?

Can you get enough money downgrading Bateman?? Seems crazy to sell someone who can suddenly get you a 70+ score?

And I'd say Lolohea a much better choice than Kata.

i would rather get rid of milford and his inconsistant scores and have another gun 2rf like de belin

Well if you want rid then yeah I'd go with LoLo and JTurbo, or Kata and James for PODness, although I'm not sure of there ownership numbers

Well friz into origin has forced me to rethink my bye planning. I always thought of him as a keeper and was going to hold him over r18. Now I am down to 13 this week but still have a spare trade that I can use to get rid of friz. I can trade in mau or sst but I would be down to 16 next week.

I think I might hold friz and save a trade

how many trades you sitting on?

Friz is one of the best PODs in the game so would be a hard call just to trade him out for missing one round but on the flip side he does have a bye coming up as well so that is two rounds you miss him for with limited coverage. depending on the make up of your team then like you said, someone like SST could be a go as long as you could have coverage for him when he has is bye

With Auva'a, what's everyone's thinking?

My thoughts are if he's not one of your two starting centres (say you have Leilua and Aitken) cash him out. No point having 230k in the NPRs at the end of the year if trades permit and there's other areas of your starting 17 you want tweaked. Come the end of the year your four best reserves will be either Hok,Frf,2rf.

Even if he plays I will be comfortable to have traded him out for a 135k cheapie like Talakai. This could apply to any player, like Bateman for example or Gutherson.

Hes coming off a big score so has a low BE, also with the uncertainty around Holland's future it may be worthwhile keeping Auva'a as an NPR. Of course if he is injured long term then i suppose its worth getting rid of him.

Haha. To be fair, everything is rumors and speculation up until they run out or the club directly comes out with a statement.

There are some whispers that Sutton might be playing and Talakai could be kicking goals. Fwiw.

Numbers looking good for those who are looking to upgrade the Gordan's, Mitchell's and possibly Barba's of this world over the next couple of rounds.

Teddy - $437K BE 72
Greg Inglis $385K BE 64

Teddy is less than that at the moment 414k which is far more satisfying lets go sub 400 and keep a wrap on things this weekend thanks

So got 13 this week. Which seems around the average. And only a trade or 3 away from the final team.
