I like the sound of that LB. It saves you wasting trades.

Even one purchase in R18 of a non-Origin Penrith/Cronulla keeper (e.g. Merrin) would see you with 13 in R18 and 17 in R19.

Edit: And you can still make other trades in R18 and/or R19 if you find that you need to at the time.

Ahh I hadnt thought of that ST, sounds like a great idea and will leave me with 9 trades for the stretch if all goes well. Thanks for that

I can't seem to settle on my trades for this week. Nothing I do seems quite right.
I originally had
Mbye > Johnson
Holland > Munster
Kennar > Talakai

But now I've got
Mbye > Johnson
Packer > Mannering

Leaves me with 2 fewer players this week (12 instead of 14), and it means I'm trading out someone who is playing this week seems silly, but Packer and Mannering have the same byes so there's no real point waiting.
And I think Munster's a bit too expensive for me when Teddy is so much cheaper as an option.

Anyone have a crystal ball and can tell me what to do?

That's alright as long as they are actually decent quality, and not guys like Dale Copley.

Rd 12 was alright because guys like S'ua and Hughes fluked some big scores, but we can't all be relying on that every bye round

Nope no Dale Copley in sight. I dont think i traded in any bye round flyers last big bye round. This week ive grabbed Brom and JWH and kept Mitchell

I like your first option more as long as you can bring in Mannering next week and eventually Teddy ?
Mannering has a BE of 54 so he won't go up in price too much this week. Teddy BE is 72 so he has a few weeks until he goes up in price here

One other option is if you can do Mannering + Munster + Talakai. That gives you an extra 1-2 weeks to re-evaluate Mbye and to see if SJ's cork is serious
