Agreed. Hoffmanns argument that no one could garuntee Bukuya would have scored is, while true, not an argument a team committing a professional foul should be allowed to make. Bukuya would have more then likely scored.

Anyone who wants to cheat. Asipeli Fine starting for the dogs, but still listed as a Tigers player in the system.
If he goes well, trade him in and then wait for the trade to be reversed

Hoffman's argument that noone could guarantee Bukuya would score is also 100% irrelevant as to whether a penalty try should be given.
All it takes is that the referee believes a try would have been scored except for the foul play. Words like "100%" or "guarantee" have no bearing on the decision.
