re Jahrome Hughes. I would of thought he is 2nd in line for a fullback position at the cowboys but he would be 3rd in line at the Storm

Hope its not for fantasy reasons. With a 2016 average of 52, Hughes is looking at starting next year at $335k (and that's after the discount for only playing 1 game)

Depends if Billy Slater retires or not.

Kalyn Ponga is also around at the Cowboys and is highly rated (or was at the start of the year), I think it surprised a few people when Hughes was given a shot over him back in the first bye.

Storm also signed U20s hooker Brandon Smith from the Cowboys. One to keep an eye on over the next couple years

I'd say Holland is first in line to lose his spot.

    Yeah...that's my worry
I think I'm 6k short for a straight swap to Croker

Damn Munster and Semi ruining my plans....would have had a back 5 of BJ, Aitken, Semi, Teddy and Munster

Now I have to think about BJ, Holland, Aitken, Teddy with an AE of either Guth or Copley Mad

Didn't even give Holland not playing tonight a thought. Oh well, at least it's the first game of the round. Another weekend of headaches.

If Holland is out, I'd have to play Guth, but then I could trade in Manu instead of of Copely, play with Munster and Semi and get Mitchell's AE anyway if they both don't play. Hmmm...

If Holland is out I have a choice of Gutherson, Copley or taking a punt on Munster/Bowen.

Or trade him out, long term that is probably the plan anyway, but not sure who it is I'll bring in for him. Was kind of thinking about Tyrone Peachey but want to see what happens with Hardaker first

Any news on Linnett and if he'll be fit to play?

What does Tohu need in each position for DPP? Half? Centre?

Hi all - been lurking a while and would appreciate some advice for this week.

Am trying to bring Teddy into my backline (I don't believe he will get picked for origin 3).

I can go via Mbye with surplus funds, but if Holland is dropped Mbye gets kicking duties(?) and probably starts to look a 50+ scorer.

My alternatives are Milford (who may play better with Macca, and requires extra cash), or Norman (does he get stood down in a week?).

If I don't trade and Munster doesn't line up, I'll be taking an AE this week (either AFB, Guthers or Cleary)

If Tohu plays half this week it should be his 4th (and if he gets DPP half then CTR can't happen. Don't think he'll play at centre again anyway as most of their centre options are fit now)

Welcome mate. Your quest to get Tedesco is a tough one. I think just go with your gut because as you've explained Mbye, Milford & Norman all have solid reasons to stay in your side. I don't think Norman will get stood down. If you take rounds 18 & 19 into account only Norman plays both so I suppose your choice is either Mybe or Milford. If it's a choice between Mbye & Milford it's a tough choice but with Mbye inheriting the kicking duties he seems the one to keep. I'd say sell Milford because he tends to struggle against good defenses & with the business end of the season approaching defenses will tend to tighten up. The irony is though if you do sell Milford he'll probably score big. Good luck.

I still think one of either Brett or Josh Morris has died. They haven't been seen on the footy field together in a long time. Joey Johns cant tell them apart when they are running side by side anyway.

Didn't Daley say he would pick both Moylan and tedesco today?

Yes, he said something along those lines last night on NRL 360. He didn't say he's picking both of them, but he said, he'd have no problem with playing both of them, or something.

I'm gonna take a punt and bench Mitchell and play Munster if not Semi. Bugger it.

Please remember he is innocent until proven guilty.
