Might be worth waiting until Friday night.  He'll have JDB, CP13 and Aitken all playing on Thursday.  If they go gangbusters, you can decide to roll the dice.  If they don't, you can bring in Gallen or Surgess to neutralise one of his other PODs.

Yeah thats the plan ,CP13 is a worry if one of the Broncos forwards go down, or I can neutalise his JDB all depends who I want to take going forward should I get through this round affraid but I think its time to make some trades while I can - I would hate to be voted off the Island in possession of the immunity idol scratch

I see looses gooses is just ahead of Pacey at #6.  He's a pretty frequent poster over in the NRLF thread, and doing just as well at Fantasy.

That's cool. Hopefully he will join our VSDT leagues next season. The more the merrier! Very Happy

Think you got this one PB, your bench is a lot stronger, I still own Milford but not playing him but still feel he could break out a big score hope its not this week though - good luck.

Don't see why not, wasn't in any as its a rookie year for me

gl all in the eliminator, I've been out since rd17 (dammit semi) so no hurdle with my team there for you lads Wink

on another note i will be sacrificing a small child to hopefully turn milf's form(a chicken wouldn't be enough), hes been killing me as a POD from s johnson and my main half has been keeping the sidelines warm (thurston)

Welcome Loose Mc, Glad you are helping out us Milf owners Very Happy,

OK guys need some advice re trading in a player been looking at these options :- JDB, Surgess,J Bromwich,Gallen and Cordner. ATM leaning towards JDB and shying away from Gallen reason being as I think he maybe rested leading into Finals and Surgess and JDB are DDP any others come to mind ??

Out of that group my vote is for JDB. Friz out this week also may help with your eliminator this week? I really think Parker will come good, his errors last week were uncharacteristic, he gets a few of his amigos back this week to take the pressure of him a little which im hoping will assist him to his offloading best. Plus they are not sitting pretty on the table and Bennett would most likely want decent minutes out of him to try and get the team mojo back. Probably way of the mark but my 2c.
PS LLooseMcGoose theres a spot next year in my league for you mate. Hench stopped playing round 8, we would be fighting for first otherwise

Damn Pacey, that's an awesome team. Looks to me like every gun in the game, apart from JDB and a couple of boom-bust WFBs.

Vote 2 for JDB. I think the injury enforced rest mid-season will have done him good too.

Thx guys , my intention all along was to grab Bromwich but JDB having DDP makes him more attractive despite the man bun.

    Leaving me this week with

    Smith
    James, Fifita
    Mannering,Merrin,JDB
    SJ,Bryce
    Harris,Munster
    Barba,Mansour,TTurbo

    Bench =Teddy,Cleary,Graham and McCullough

    NPR = Finucane,Milford,Su'A and

Seriously considering trading in Buhrer over Gallen this week. Gallen's points were helped with extra minutes during the game this week (through injury) plus a few extra minutes in golden point. Whenever Sharks lead by a margin, Gallen is the first to get a rest. Just thinking Manly might be hungrier for a win and Buhrer is 80 minutes week in week out.
First week of my main H2H finals and my opponent has neither Gallen or Buhrer - any opinions?
Guess I'm a bit gun shy on 'proven' guns this season, having already been burnt by Fensom, Parker, and DCE (twice)
Any opinion to help sway the decision one way or another would be appreciated.

    Sorry guys - wrong thread

Tough call on Buhrer like him as a player, my concern is his injuries in past have always cost me - depends on how much your willing to gamble I suppose and how many trades ya have left etc

JDB should be pumping 60's for the rest of the year imo but not much more, i think cordner is the POD option though, i see him going potentially big on the run home, best option pearce has running off him so probably the highest ceiling

so i guess it depends the role your looking for- consistancy or a potential points grab

on another note: who would you bench this week, 1 of rapana, barba, teddy and hurrell

Hurrell was originally my backup but hes playing awesome and up against the warriors he'll be looking for a big one

    currently leaning towards barba

Looking at the teams ahead of you, everyone has Tedesco, 2 have Barba, 1 has Hurrell and no one has Rapana. personally i would leave out Hurrell, but i would say its pretty much a gut call.

Ok 3 trades left. Do i upgrade Jturbo to James (already have the other forward guns) with one trade or use two trades and some DPP switcheroos to being in Johnson? Am leaning towards James so as to conserve two trades for the run home.

I wouldnt be trading if I thought I would get through Eliminator round without it? Still might hold off on that DeBelin trade scratch Cant advise you one way or the other JJ sorry Embarassed My concern is I think Milford might go ape s... tonight and my opponent plays him and I have him as a NPR affraid

I live in the Gong and we have had heaps of rain here today so thinking of sitting pat with the squad I have for now and see what happens.

Was tempted to back the unders on tonight's game. News of rain makes it even more tempting...

We should have met up when I was there. I went to the Dragons/Panthers and stayed at The Sage. For some reason I thought you were on the North Coast?
