That's cool. The Cougars and the Butchers. I went to Wollongong High. Played junior footy with the Wollongong Wolves, who eventually folded. Moved to Sydney when I was 18 to go to uni.

Yeah the old Cougars and Wolves Grand Final in 1974 at what was then Wollongong Show Ground with the Dog Track and now Win Stadium, Cliffy Watson Capt Coached the Wolves and Oscar Danielson Capt Coached the Cougars was a brutal game, we had to sneak two players out of Wollongong Hospital after the game in wheelchairs so they could get on the drink to celebrate the win , can still remember Watson getting stitched on the sideline no needle no nothing - tough bugger.

Well Eliminator opponent has Capt DeBelin and is leading me 300 - 139 , he has had Parker, Aitkin, DeBelin(C) and McCullough V my DeBelin and McCullough .

I have TTurbo in tomorrow nights game as only player between us involved, hoping he can match Aitkins 45.

My Turbo ceased up

No he didnt play Milf and I am in trouble ATM, could go either way but he looks better off holding a 149 pt lead with
Gallen ,Bromwich ,Surgess and Cordner v my Graham ,Fifita ,James ,Mansour and Merrin need to choose my Capt not sure Smith can get me over the line maybe Merrin?

I'm thinking along the same lines AR, with making T.Merrin my captain over C.Smith. I got away with it last week when I went for A.Fifita instead and I think I'll do it again this week. If form is right, then Storm should beat Souths comfortably and as long as their is limited attacking stats from Smith, he should get an early mark ( as Bellamy has constantly said ) which should limit his score.
The last 3 games (since Origin), Merrin's minutes have been 65, 80 and 72 and with the same limited bench this week, again he should get big minutes in a tough and must win game for the Panthers.


By the way, I've only used E.Aitken so far and he has used J.DeBelin, J.Roberts and A.Milford and has captained C.Smith and is leading 150-45.

welp the sacrifice didn't help much on milf (a bit spewing knowing that JT is likely to paly) but hodgson did go nuts and with leliua going small it should see me catch up on those leaders

Surgess and Bromwich both have stopped me heading through to the next round in the Eliminato. No hope now................

Good luck mate with chasing down those leaders. I can't get there, too far away now and for the last few weeks, almost every trade upgrade I've made, the leader has made the same upgrade a week later ( he must've been watching me ) and I've only got 3 players different in our top 17. You have a much better chance with a variety of great POD's. I have good depth, so have been hoping for the usual string of late season injuries, suspensions or resting of players ( I mean you Smith ) but not to be.

Good stuff.  I've lost the un-loseable Eliminator before in a similar situation, but your lead is surely insurmountable.
