So you're good with the abuse of women whether it be verbal or physical ? White ribbon & women in league is a good gimmick to raise revenue ?
That's probably the opposite to what he just said to be honest

Definite troll.

Definite troll. I thought your comment surrounding people not knowing their limits and a random RSA comment was a typical Bronco response to divert the spotlight and sweep an issue. The fact is a decent human being drunk or not doesn't treat a woman the way he did, and the average person doesn't need a RSA and be dragged out of a club by their head.
Rather than admonish it felt you were making an excuse for this grub.

Looking back on my post I can see how it may have come across as though I was making excuses for Roberts (I did not intend my post to come across this way). At that time I did not know the full extent of his actions as I had only read bits and pieces of it on Twitter. My previous post was alluding to patrons at pubs and clubs who do not understand the rules and regulations that all bar staff must follow regarding responsible service of alcohol. Now that I know the full story I personally believe Roberts should be stood down and should not be playing this week vs the Bulldogs.
Getting kicked out of a pub/refused service is very different to being dragged out in a sleeper hold. If he has in your words seriously abused a barmaid than he deserves much more than a fine from the NRL. At this point I don't think he should be stood down tonight pending the investigation but if it's found that he abused anyone a fine just won't cut the mustard.Dip wrote:If all he did was be kicked out of a pub with no complaint by the police, pub or anyone else, then I'm sure everyone can agree that no sanction from the NRL is necessary. If there was more to it the that, such as seriously abusing a barmaid, then a fine might be appropriate but that's it at most from the NRL.
If the club wants to penalise him further for failing to meet club standards, then that's up to them based on what expectations had previously been discussed. Calls for the NRL to stand him down tonight are no more than Bronco bashing.

You better start looking over your shoulder saying things like that. Maranta's only fan is a complete nutcase.Bren wrote:Another week without Maranta for another win. Is anyone else seeing a pattern emerging here?
