Press conference from Flano today says Fifita will play. Injury was apparently a bad cork in his leg which bled a lot and swelled up monstrously, which is why they took him to hospital.
Fifita is always my captain but I picked someone else this week as I was concerned, but it looks like he'll play.
He's also been spoken to about not losing his shit all the time and apparently "he will be a lot better prepared this week".

Why is the nrl getting worse at officiating?? its fucking ridiculous and I'm getting sick of being a fan.. No other sport on earth has this many problems with the refs?? Why ahould we suffer with such incompetence at our top level??
So many things wrong with this game but if the game was left to flow I would accept it but stopping play to reiew it to still fucking get it wrong is appalling.. Unfortunately nothing will ever get done about it so getting annoyed over it is pointless..

I think a lo of us are feeling that way at the moment mate. Not just with reviews but other shit like the touching the refs v Grubs trip judiciary this week and the whole "it's oky to stand there and bitch slap each other for three quarters of an hour but not throw one punch" thing. You can't punch, but it's ok to be a cock and stir up shit, like Ennis, Fifita, and tonight was Lussick.
Refs let that go unpunished and can't work out why they lose control of the game.

As far as the niggle goes, I might be in the minority, but to me it's a symptom of today where when someone fucks up, some other shitto comes in and rubs it in. Seems to coincide with the whole high five a player when their team mate drops a ball or kicks out on the full.
If your team mate fucks up just get on with it, don't congratulate him for doing it. Conversely, if the bloke you hate most on the other team drops it cold, don't overdo the trash talk, cos everyone does it.
