I don't like that only because lets say Cameron Smith was injured you could easily name him in a 20 - 25 man squad whether the coach knows he is playing or not then on the second one could name him again in a 19 to 20 man squad then in the final team list not name him at all I think that would infact confuse everything more because then people / bookies will think he'll be a chance to play when he was never going to play where as this current system he would just not have been named at all.

I think clubs should have to publicly make announcements through the week as things occur. Name your 17 on Tuesday but if there is a change on the final teams and the club hasnt announced it through the week penalise them. Warm up injury is different I can understand that being a late change with no indication but look at Gallen last week. It was well known that he wasn't playing early but in that situation when the coach ruled him out there should have been an announcement from the team. If the public are informed it will stop the problem

Under the current system they can do that already though??

With the proposed system they would surely be less likely to name a bloke that is no chance.....just in case any of the other players were ruled out late.

The only flaw in the system I can see is if a club legitimately copped a few days of bad luck and due to a few last minute injuries ran out of blokes in the squad to name.
Only way around that would be to set up deterrents e.g. some sort of penalty/offset for having to go outside the named squads for additional players.

I swear I've bloody warned you about this loose! To make matters worse you've butchered half of his team mates (Wighton is the only one left unscathed)!!!!!!!

Also, good stuff on the score. That's huge.

Unbelievably I got too caught up in the excitement and forgot to submit my team for this game, that's two games now Sad

Unless of course, his dumping was one of the factors in their success.....which I tend to think it has been.

It's why he never made many rep teams, will tackle all day but little else. This year though he did try hit the line more often but not enough speed to make an impact. Kind of like Elijah until he got his passing game together

I read something the other day, (couldn't be bothered looking for the source) that Fensom is likely to ask for a release from his contract to join the Knights but will most likely head to the ESL to finish his career. I couldn't work out whether he was going to the Knights or ESL

Yes! Who do you think will be the more effective attacking side fantasy-wise in the Sharks vs Cowboys game?
I am thinking of grabbing Bowen and Ponga although it is hard to pass up Barba...

Can someone tell me how many games Dan Sarginson has played for Wigan this year. I have calculated he has scored 915pts (not including KD and TS) but want to know his average and did he play wing like his stats profile says he did. That is all.

This year I tried the balanced team approach at the start & sacrificed going with the guns so I could get a what I thought was a good scoring 17. Boy was I wrong haha. Also I went with some bad picks like Macca & didn't jump on the profitable cows like C. Walker. Also burnt too many trades like usual haha. The result of this was a crap season of fantasy & a final rank of 3,839. On the plus side the new forum has been a real success & there have been a lot of new members joining who have been excellent along with the existing ex sportal members. I'd just like to thank everyone involved & next year will be even better.

Gillett at lock would be fantasy gold. He would go to elite 2fr calibre imo. Plus you don't lose experience with Glenn starting.

McGuire taking on increased work load. Early in the year before Parker's minutes started winding down they were taking turns as "A" and "B" defender, with the other defending a little wider. With Parker gone I can see McGuire taking this role full time whilst on the field
