Corey Oates and Justin Hodges had to be separated by onlookers after almost punching on at a bar last Saturday night.

Hodges, Oates and Jack Reed had reportedly been day drinking at a function before the night kicked on at a bar - which was when tensions flared within the group.

Hodgo reportedly told Oates he'd "put one on his chin if he didn't stop carrying on" after Oates had apparently had a bit to drink and was getting pretty loud.

A source told the Courier Mail that Hodgo was "ready to shape up at him" but the boys were split up before anything eventuated.

Hodgo has been working at the club in a promotional role since his retirement in 2015

I read that on Triple M yesterday, and had to come in here to see how many days ago I reported it.

For the record Oates was lippy and obnoxious not threatening to coward punch everyone. Hodges (who I like to think is a piece of shit, so this is killing me) told to pull his head in. Non story.
