Matt Parcell no option but to leave Manly. Had a bizarre performance review from Barrett who made it clear he doesn't want a hooker who runs.

If Ash Taylor and Elgey are the first choice halves bumping out Roberts, does that make Taylor the goal kicker or is there someone else?

While a number of players in the squad are capable of playing at fullback, Brown has now narrowed the candidates down to just two.
“In the short term it’ll come down to either Dylan Phythian or Pete Mata’utia,” he told Knights TV.
Looks like our first WFB cash cow

Parcell to Leeds = confirmed

Beale to Manly = unconfirmed
If Beale goes that leaves a backline spot open at the Sharks. I was reading a Sharks forum & they mentioned Capewell as that man they would like to get the position. The reckon he could be an Oates type player & that he's played in the backs before I think. He looked pretty good coming off the bench in the games I saw.
Best unconfirmed news ive heard in a long time.
GTFO Beale.

I now you missed a couple of years since I've been around but you were on Sportal for like 10 years!
Been on a very tight reign mate, looking to burst through !
Wouldn't always hang around in the off season and then come back into it with two days to make a team up and said to myself 'ahh, I'll make it in time next year' for the sportal leagues. Soft excuse but there it is.

I think parcell combination with DCE was the problem (and remember he runs the club) add to that Koro played all last season injured and had a bad preseason with his partner committing suicide, Manly now feel all of that is behind him and he is in a great position to succeed

I'm just posting what I saw on Twitter lad. Surely Gordon will be retired by then though? Apparently Mitchell to play in the CTRs next yearMighty Fishes wrote:

Also Gordon's Wiki Page says he has signed with the Tigers for 2017. Player swap?

I'm happy with this, his performance will only improve in a club that's got its front office in order.
And if he can build a relationship with Mitchell it'll help the Blues for years to come.

Absolutely no idea mate, Knights would take him in a heartbeat. Parcell and Levi to share the hooker duties - certainly a step in the right direction

Fair enough haha. Just it find it weird they have a player in Mitchell who is underdone don't get me wrong a fantastic player especially considering this was his first year but really if you can have and afford the strike players of Teddy, SKD, Mitchell in your backline why the hell wouldn't you?

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 1
So Knights prices are out. Very steep prices for Buhrer and Barnett, are people actually considering these two at those prices? Will both need to play 80 to maintain these prices I feel.
Both Sione Mata'utia and Daniel Saifiti are interesting propositions. Thoughts?
Don't really know whether Kostjasyn will be worth it in the hooking spot. No DPP half.
Also the fullback Dylan Pythian at $143,000, will he be the next Feeney?
Joe Wardle at centre $194,000 could be a smokie?
Too many unknowns and I think there is better value in a lot of other teams. Will take the plunge with Pythian if named to start round 1 and that's probably as far as I will go regarding the Knights.
