    I've put a few draft teams together played with a few different scenarios. Too many unknowns to do much more.
    Much guesswork regarding the FRF and 2RF cashcows
    The nines should bring a bit more clarity on the new talent.
    Teamlists can't come soon enough

    Well,

    I am not sure how all the stats people do it, but it appears that there are a few people 'excited' by the idea of Kenny Sio, being back in town with the Knights.

    Can anyone pull out any stats from his last stint in the NRL?

    The Sio excitement is purely sexual from Bren and Filth.

    So after getting a "no" from R. James apparently the Broncos are now going after K. Sims. If they do get K. Sims imo it's a dead certainty that McGuire will play lock in 2017. Mind you he probably was anyway with or without Sims.

    I don't particularly want Sims at the club but its a pretty good move for both parties if so.

    Sims to the Broncos would pretty much ruin any chance of Broncos having a cash cow forward

    8.Blair
    9.McCullough
    10.Sims
    11.Thaiday
    12.Gillett
    13.McGuire
    14.Nikorima
    15.Arrow/Esee/TPJ
    16.Ofa
    17.Glenn

    That even excludes the option of Oates to the pack which has been talked about

    I never thought they would throw Arrow in the deep end playing Lock, I'm sure he'll get a crack at it later in the season

    yeah, mcguire will be the lock. its not officially confirmed, but that will be the case.

    Oates to the forwards is just "talk" as well. he wont be moving off the wing any time soon.

    I've just run the numbers (hopefuly the right ones), and Im not sure how you can call this the Brooks effect?

    I dont even think there is a game in the whole season where Brooks was out & Farah was in was there? You would need a few of those surely if you were going to attribute Brooks being out to changes in Moses scores? Otherwise I think you are at serious risk of confounding Brooks being out with Farrah also being out...

    So to look at this in my opinion you need to look at the three possible scenarios: Farah and Brooks out, Farah only out, and Brooks only out. The following show those scores and subsequnet averages:

    F & B out: 3 games 47, 71, 22 => ave=46.7
    F only out: 12 games 40, 29, 36, 48, 33, 10, 48, 44, 70, 78, 54, 31 => ave=43.4
    B only out: No games

    Moses currently priced at 39.6 so on that basis with Farah gone I guess we can say he is roughly 4 points per game undervalued.

    Feel free to correct me if I've gone wrong somewhere.

    You are saving yourself $100K on the gun halves, all I am hoping for is a 3-5 game stretch where he kills it then I will jump ship to a premium gun because I can't stand getting sub 30 scores occasionally. If he can hit his last 6 scores with Farah out I'd be tempted to hold him.

    Why, please explain? I think he only plays 60 minutes, and even if he plays 80 minutes there is more chance for missed tackles at the end of the game. Have a look at his missed tackle counts and I reckon he won't go as well as others think he will
