Sue will be tempting (especially if it means he's got the role of Moses protector) but as has been said before he's like Aubusson in his perennial temptation. Been talked up 3 years in a row now and yet to really deliver.

Yeah but Aubo can actually deliver good scores when he just stays in the 2nd row. Last year I had him in my team and people thought I was mad but a couple of 64+ scores and some 40's made him as good a CTR choice as any at the time. Sue's never been a great scorer, only way that'd change shifting to the edge would be if Moses put him through gaps consistently

hmmm, is aubs someone you start with or work your way towards in the ctrs? it would be nice to have smats and aubs there if they can both pull 40s. majority of teams will run with idris so its pretty safe you would think, to make the cash there first. gonna have a look at the second row see what my teams looks like with both

I'd prefer to start with Aubo but he just costs too much at the moment. I want him in my team though, I mean he'll still go to the centres if there's a mid-match injury (I think Watson's too small to reliably fill in there) but with the added depth Roosters have, he'll never have to start there again.

Is what JDB really did that bad? Everybody's reacting like it's going to get him suspended but according to RLW the punch wouldn't have put a hole in a piece of fairy floss and pretty sure it's never been a suspendable offence unless they changed the rules in the last year.

String him up and ask questions later..................if he was any kind of man he would turn around so we can shoot him in the back.

He's the only player in the Eels to have kicked more than one goal in first grade. Norman has a pretty atrocious record though so who knows. Gutherson was apparently a sharpshooter in NSW Cup but didn't seem to translate to the one chance he got to kick.

Regardless of how weak JDB punches a punch is a punch. If they didn't enforce rules in trials there'd be no fear from the players and they'd do what they like.

There are no fines for striking and it carries a penalty of 200 points so with an early guilty plea he will face one match on the sidelines unless he has carry over points.

The 2nd hooker position is doing my head in.

Also, it's amazing what you pick up from individual club forum. Was lurking on a Dragons website to see what they thought of McInnes playing 80 mins this year and apparently a lot of the posters hated Mitch Rein. I've always thought of him as a good solid player.

The question has to be asked though as I see Rein and McInnes in the same light , both work their butt off but not that creative seems weird too me what the Dragons were thinking???

Yeah any injuries/suspensions/loss of form or minutes really hurt in Ultimate League draft. That's why good depth is so important.

The question I like to ask myself is this: Do I need Mitchell 'BW' Aubusson to win fantasy NRL this year?

    The answer is always no.

How are you Sydney folk getting on with the heat? I can't even imagine what it must be like for those poor bastards who have to train in it.

This made me laugh more than it should have. Do you have kids? As in, are you a Dad? Or do you just have the inherent genetic make up of a Dad already?

This is my first crack at throwing a team together. A couple of holes at the moment and some of the cheaper options will deffo change once team lists are out in Week 1.

    HOK: N Peats, M Cherrington
    FRF: J Graham, P Vaughan, M Scott, B Gray
    2RF: T Harris, J Trbojevic, E Taylor, W Matthews, C Smith, T McCarthy
    HLF: A Reynolds, M Morgan, A Sezer, K Elgey
    CTR: M Jennings, J Idris, J Drew, J Olive
    WFB: R Tuivasa-Sheck, J Hayne, K Sio, K Pongia, M Oldfield

Be interesting to see how many of that 25 are still there in Week 1.

My mate hates him, absolutely hates him and when he was talking about him I'd watch him play and he wasn't wrong. He would always pass to the player who wasn't running onto the ball or would go the wrong option more than the right one. He's one of those hooker that make himself look good but he is rubbish for attack
