The biggest problem with that team is that there is no wiggle room. If there are players named rd1 that are between $170k - $220k it's going to take a major makeover to bring them in

Too much competition for minutes in the middle. He's up against the alpha prop Tamou & Merrin plays 60-65 mins. He played an av of 43 mins in 2016 so it won't realyy change. If he was at any other club I'd pick him.

It's fucking solid imo.
Biggest question marks over Kafausi and Talakai but I love the rest
Sorry to burst your bubble mate but I counted 5-6 players that won't play round 1 so your team has no money making potential plus you only have 2-3 players for round 12. I can see you making a lot of downgrades come TLT.

Just a quick reminder both the Fantasy Fanatic Latecomer Leagues as well as the Fantasy Fanatic Elite League are accepting registration if you are interested. The following is the registration for the Fantasy Fanatic Latecomer Leagues which gets you into the Eliminator and into the Fanatasy Fanatic Overall Group.
https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t402-2017-nrl-fantasy-leagues-registration-thread
The Elite Leagues require you to have a 2-3 year average of 2 000 (Relaxed entry for the second league) as well as been a member of the Fanatics Overall Group before. If you are interested post up in the thread below.

That's not quite right. You underestimate how ballsy Willie Wagtails are.

Edrick Lee to Cronulla confirmed.
Nick Cotric should now be good to go. Currently he is just a CTR, so if Turner plays centre and Cotric on the wing then he should get DPP

1 cow out of the reckoning (Capewell) & new cow on the horizon (Cotric). Cheers Milch.

So the guy replacing Edrick who looked average in the trial albeit in a rubbish Raiders side is a legitimate cow? Ok...

A winger in a team tipped to do well this year at basement price? Whats not to like. All he would need to do is have a few games where he scores a couple of tries each and he will make some solid cash.

All the action was down the BJ Rapana side. Why would this change

better option than ponga who will be squeezed out sooner. teams will aim down that side as well in attck. might mean more tackles/missed tackles

If an opposition had the choice of running at leipana or two rookies where would they go? If they are good tacklers then maybe some base points there

I mean I'll probably get him but I think he'll be the usual slow burning trap

Ponga won't even start. Bowen and GGM ahead of him surely

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 7
By all means, don't pick him. But I saw a guy who could break tackles frequently, doesn't mind the contact (so likely to take plenty of hitups coming out of our own half) and saved a couple of tries with a few solid hits. Also I disagree with the "all the ball went to the right" sentiments. Croker was competing for top try scorer right up until the last few weeks and brenko scored something like 8 tries in 3 weeks when he played on that left wing.Loomer wrote:So the guy replacing Edrick who looked average in the trial albeit in a rubbish Raiders side is a legitimate cow? I fail to see what that has to do with a bargain basement priced rookie who you can chuck in your NPRs and be a slow burner. Trap? Maybe, but you have to take risks somewhere and why not do so on a minimum wage player. Seems fairly simple and straight forward to me.

Don't forget Lee scored 6 tries or something last year also.

GGM can't even tackle in reserve grade he is a long way from first grade
