Better... Was listening to the cahtter about this on the podcast the other day. Statistically every half who has played outside Foran gets better stats.

Both Pearce & Cordner will be the key players that restore the Roosters this year. I'm expecting both to be massive early season but the only negative is that both probably will play origin.

I think someone posted the other day that DCE points were better when Foran was in the halves. It seems DCE is better fantasy wise when the other half is the organiser like Foran/Green & DCE can play his own game. Last year DCE had to do both organising & trying to play his natural game which at first he struggled & then when he started to increase his scores he got injured. I think he'll be a great pick in 2017.

I have to admit when MS in his wisdom with which he has plenty mentioned JWH would most probably play 45-50 mins my ears pricked up. I don't really want to drop Fifita but a front row of mid 300k or less frf's & a stacked 2fr is pretty tempting. If I keep Fifita then I'll have to go cheaper on my halves.

How many guns does everyone have? Let's say $450K plus.

Think I only have 3. Smith, James, DCE. Not at home right now so can't check.

Want to know if interested behind the pack or not.

3 doesn't seem like many lol

DCE's numbers were better when Foran was beside him.
In saying that, Manly have been terrible since he left.

I have 5 & ET. I think you need at least 4-5 mate. It seems you have too many mid range players which could be risky if they don't go as expected.

I read an article the other day outlining the strategy of forming a team. To earn money which is the goal up to origin the article suggested the "bottom-up" approach i.e. first players after your captain are the 8-10 cash cows who will make the $. If there aren't many rookies named for round 1 then you will be picking a few mid rangers. Then the rest are as many guns as you can. So this year I'm trying this approach. The top-down approach is usually the way I usually pick my team.

I'm sure you wouldn't outdo Tombsy for lack of posting on there.  ST finally handed his notice in last year!  They have culled that extra League they added in 2015 so back down to 60 members from 70 odd last year.

Wonderful place though, very similar community to here  Very Happy

    lol!

I used to win the "Deadbeat Dad" award every year in Legends, but whenever I asked if I should leave the group (since participation is a requirement) they said that I could stay. I eventually walked, saying that somebody else deserved a shot at winning the "Deadbeat Dad" award.  Wink Hehe.

I was pleased to leave knowing that I got some (Sportal/ex-Sportal) people like Wacko, Arsen, and MS into the group. I think I might have also got DK and your goodself  (SI) into the group, but my memory is a bit hazy about that.

Legends is a great bunch. Please pass on my regards next time you are in there (I wonder if they will remember me, I really was a phantom, haha). Oh and a special hello to my old mate Arsen (what a champ).

Who would you choose as a 17th man FRF or 2RF ???

    1. J.Ofahengaue
    2. S.Lisone
    3. L Pulu

Already have J.Brailey, F.Kaufusi and Sironen as 3 of my reserves.

IMO C.Walker is similar to players like R.James and N.Cleary; it's hard to be confident that they will maintain and/or improve on their impressive 2016 averages.

Well if Cook partners him in the halves while ARey is out then surely he will see a slight bump in KMs. Wouldn't he also take over the goal kicking duties while ARey is out also?
