But I'd take Brett Stewart in a heartbeat if he was free. Playing with 24 players would be a price worth paying for the extra salary cap room.

His previous games at lock were before we had a genuine lock. Now with Carter floating around the team I can see 3 options.

A)Guerra plays 50 minutes at lock with Carter picking up 30 minutes at lock in the middle of the game. Aubbo plays 80 edge
B)Guerra plays 50 at lock with 30 on the edge. Carter gets 30 at lock. Aubbo has a 30 minute rest.
C)Guerra plays 50 straight at lock. Carter comes on the finish the game at lock. Aubbo goes off after 65 and Guerra comes back on. 65 each for Aubbo and Guerra

Talakai doesn't have the best job security (from what we can tell) which leaves me skeptical on committing to him as a starting ctr.

At the moment I have Walker + Idris/Talakai/other cheapie and I guess the theory is that Walker will at least be one safe pick and potentially a set and forget spot.

The conundrum I face is whether to ditch Walker, run with two cheapies at ctr, and upgrade French/Holmes (toying with the idea of holding holmes) to Tom Trbo.

There does seem to be enough cheap options at CTR to go round though (plus the option of moving Sione down to ctr if a cheap 2rf option appears).

McInnes + F Kaufusi or Talakai

I feel my side weakens tremendously as soon as I include Brailey... even splashing that extra cash around.

By itself I think its better than 1. Better job security and more reliable scoring. But Fifita is a better captain than everyone but Smith so you might cost yourself points by not having him

I will back you up on this Feline. Somebody  (I can't remember who, but that doesn't matter) did pose that question, and I did realise that was what you were replying to, but to avoid confusion it might have been a good idea for you to quote the post you were responding to.

Having said that, whoever it was who posed the initial question should have stopped to think that any responses might have caused confusion down the line. It was a dangerous game to play IMO, but in their defence they didn't intentionally mean any harm.

It would be nice if they provide some clarity on where Bodene's at, if he's not named. I'm assuming Papalii is right in the mix for round 1 but I don't know how long he will last in FG.
