I was reading a Souths forum & the comments were that he didn't play so well for Norths & that he was lacking fitness. I don't think he'll be in for a while.

Done. Might as well do the double Wallace.

    Smith - Peter Wallace
    Perrin - Jarrod Wallace

    Bank - $463k

    Thank for the advice.

On reflection think it's worth waiting. Will also hold Phythian waiting for a more appealing cow than Burns (unless he's starting fullback). Novel position, banking trades.

In the WAGs league however there are *loads* of trading options.

For me the obvious trades are Phythian to  Moga or Talakai - but I can't do that without downgrading elsewhere.

So a bit of thinking before making any moves this week

Is Elgy to Jacks worth it?

Thinking for the cash grab and Elgy didn't really look that good out there in comparison.

I did a bit of a reshuffle to upgrade Saifiti to Buhrer...

Buhrer is the poor man's version of JDB... but 49 tackles and 126run meters in 63mins
that's some solid stats for a lock...

Random wrote:Also what is everyone doing with J. Bromwich. It could only be two weeks, and off the options to straight trade him to. (Anyone priced at Taupau's level or less.) Because didn't McGuire get extra minutes this week? (Played almost 70.) Wallace has money making potential, but again had extra minutes due to Proctor. S. Sue has trap written all over it. AFB (Could be an option if he starts.) Matagi (Still not sold he keeps his work rate up.)

Already have Wallace, so looking at Barnett. of the 71 he scored 61 was from base stats so gotta think he is good for 50-55 weekly. I have the money to go to JDB, but then I won't be able to trade Phythian to anyone decent and I use all of my 150k I had pegged for cow/midranger upgrades (like Siro to Whitehead in about 5-6 rounds).

As to whether it is worth it for 2 weeks. Lets say worse case scenario I want to trade him in later, I trade him out now, he scores 50 average on his return. Round 7 he will drop to about 420k. By then a few cows should be ready for cashing out for an upgrade, plus gives me time to watch JWH and KBrom, both of which should be only 50-100k upgrade to JBrom. If you pick the right scoring midranger/cow you could pick up an extra 50-100k in price increases by round 7.

My 4th reserve would be one of Elgey, Jacks, MCK, Suli, Cotric. Trade to Barnett will get me probably 50pts over those guys in 2 rounds.

So basically trading now saves me about 30k in price drops and 50-60pts extra. If I trade him back, then I pick him up at basement price gun for an upgrade to a cow/stagnant midranger.

hmmm not sure if worth it for only 2 weeks out, but I am bleeding 20-30pts a round he is sitting on the pine.

Anyway that's my thinking, whether I am right or not who knows!

Same boat for me though I already have Moga.

Think I will just sit tight. That worked reasonably well for me last year.

Well Elgey is playing the Knights this week. The Roosters totally lost their way in the 2nd half and most of their tries came off errors but Tits will certainly have more attacking opportunities. Don't think he'll streak away for 2 tries and notch up a few assists but potential is there for Elgey to do more.
Jacks is a tricky one for me. He looked very comfortable in first grade but his big score was on account of the fact he was making back-rower like tackles at 5/8. He has a big frame so might not be too uncommon for him to be a busy defender, especially with no JBrom but I'd wonder whether he keeps that up.

Buhrer was Second Row at no.12. Barnett was no.13.

I risked a POD with Kevin Proctor. If he is to be out injured for a while, he has to be an early trade. I had a poor start and can't afford $450k sitting out earning no points. Even if he's named, a 2RF with a dodgy shoulder in a team that looked awful for the first 30 mins is not good.

I have $44k in the bank and a couple of downgrade options. Who would you guys be looking at? Am tempted by JDB but don't want to get caught chasing points that have already gone and paying over the odds. Anyone think JDB is overpriced?

also, not sure how acurate this is. But Moley reporting Foran may be out to round 6-7 due to injury. Elgey to Hingano might be a viable trade?

Good for Siro and Frankensteins job security then.

Foran might do a Billy Slater. I don't see the use in trading Elgey to someone like Hingano, it's a pretty sideways trade. You are only netting 50K and their scores were pretty much the same and the Warriors had more attack than the Titans.

Not really - maybe a little in Taupau in that he might move back to the 2nd row at some point. But the 2nd row competition comes from Lane and Kennedy, and the prop rotation shouldn't impact it

Just on DSaifiti also, watching the game, I blame his low scores and output a lot of Starling, he was an absolute ball hog the entire time, and both were on pretty much the same times. Multiple times Saifti wanting to take hit ups and not getting the ball. Although saying that he didn't really dig in to the tackles either.

Yeah noticed that. Dugan was actually worse, having him I was watching him and every single time he got tackled he went the ref, and then kept going at the next play the ball. Really surprised the ref didn't stop play while they were in attack to teach him a lesson.
