    The worrying thing I noticed with Sione was he was leading the defensive line and a few times made initial contact, stopped the momentum and then fell off the tackle while someone else cleaned up. Great for the Knights but scored as a missed tackle in fantasy

    If we still had the VC loophole I'd keep him. I just need to calm down and stop considering dropping JWH based on one game.

    Did anyone catch the Eels game?

    Why manu tackle count and MG so low? Was he playing more in the CTR's?

    Should continue to play 80, could break more tackles this week against the Titans than the 1 he got against the Warriors. Should be good for around 40 points.

    Had a head knock I think and got an early shower, Eels also had all the ball second half so less tackles. Think there was 9 sets where Manly didn't touch the ball. Was used as a decoy a bit because they were in the attacking zone a lot with forced drop outs etc.

    Sione Matautia will be named at centre before long if not today.

    Not sure why it keeps being discussed though. Are people actually going to sell if that happens? who on earth to?

    Not sure he will get moved to centre. Nathan Ross/Brendan Elliot would go there first I would have thought.

    But I Joe Wardle is to come in if he can force his way in when back from injury?

    The Knights will most likely move Gagai to FB and Ross to centre with another winger coming in. When their UK import isnt injured Ross goes back to wing.

    Brown loves Sione at 2ndrow and i think the improvement in their pack at the back end of last season and this year (trials/rd1) he wont want to make changes there

    . Thinking more about this Yates if he's fancied at the club and Toupou in the wings. More relevance to what will end up their full strength pack rather than what outside backs are on the books

    Let's move on I'm so tired of this guy. The knights are the most uninspiring squad of all time for 2 years running and led by an absolute muppet in Brown

    Ah gutted mate, I thought that might be the case but just in case you did your math wrong I though I should point it out Smile

If hes averaging 36 minutes last season then basically people are expecting him to increase his minutes by at least 50%, not an easy thing to do playing in a demanding position like prop or lock. I have JWH and will give it another week to see how things pan out for both players before making a call.

    We seem to be on the same thought train here. He gained the extra minutes due to a injury. I don't expect a prop to play 70mins often, al though I do expect him to play 70mins when there's an injury in Pos 8, 11, 13.

    Off topic but Titans are 2/7 since Hayne joined after losing only 3 of their previous 9 games prior to his arrival.

    As a knights fan I'm going to reluctantly agree with you there. I thought Phythian was great....put in a few good kicks and did a fair bit of kicking in the trials too. Gutted for him. I can't stand Brown. Worst. Coach. Ever.

    Surely the obvious solution is to play Kenny Sio on both wings.

    I was going to spend all my cash and upgrade Saifiti to Barnett, but I think I'll go for some more conservative trades;

    Saifiti -> Wallace
    Pyhtian -> Moga

    The Moga trade fucks my DPP at the back, but I'd then have, Moga, Cotric, Suli, Kelly, Idris, Talakai, Jacks, Elgey, Frankenstein, Yates and Kaufusi. Too many cows haha?
