Moga concerns me with his knee issues and also the more recent heart problem, however I would usually pick a centre over a winger.

Who's the better option to replace Phythian, Moga or Suli?

If Mcqueen was injured its still another 22 minutes that had to be filled on the edge by someone who would normally have been rotating as a middle forward. Add to that proctors 40 mins injured and thats 62 minutes extra available for middle forwards that wouldn't normally be there.
If Wallace plays 50 minutes I don't think he's worth the trade in.
Is Greenwood planned to start at lock once he's up to NRL speed?

Also if you can't go Pythian to missed cash cow in 1 trade I would wait. Have a look at Burns/Jennings/Edwards this week etc but thinking with injuries better cash cows will turn up all over the place.
Of that lot Jennings would be good if he jags a centre spot with Talakai moving to the bench, but I would wait a week.
I held 42K and have gone Pythian to Suli, worth the trade?

Talakai to the bench seems to be an idea of posters on the Souths forum and nothing more?

What's the likely progress of Idris, Suli and Chee Kam moving forward? Surely the tigers won't keep running with Idris as a part-time ctr?

Aside from maybe making 50k over the next 10 weeks, on points and quality, what are people's thoughts on KBrom? It annoyed me picking me and still annoys me owning him when he did nothing terribly wrong opening up with 40pts

Suli for DPP reasons and having he and Cotric on either side of centre and wfb

Can't see him changing much at all in round 2
Chee Kam looked really good so likely another weird centre interchange setup

If someone told you KBrom would score you 40 points before kick off I think you would take it. It's the fact that players like Kafausi and Wallace scored more at a cheaper price which is making it seem worse

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 14
i am hoping that kbrom and kfaus bag some tries before offloading at least on of them when harris returns. the storm love that cronk short ball play to the edge forward close to the line and i don't see that changing.
brought kbrom in to make some coin, hopefully he gets a little more involved this week in better weather

As you say he did nothing wrong, however I'm disappointed he didn't score better. He played 71 minutes, not sure if he'll play 80 if it wasn't last week.GreenMachine wrote:Aside from maybe making 50k over the next 10 weeks, on points and quality, what are people's thoughts on KBrom? I kept 250k in the bank so I'm very tempted to upgrade to Barnett before that boat sails.

I see MCK getting dropped at some point in the next few rds. Idris and Suli should be safe.SoylentGreen wrote:What's the likely progress of Idris, Suli and Chee Kam moving forward? Surely the tigers won't keep running with Idris as a part-time ctr?

Was anyone here expecting Sione to score 46? He definitely exceeded my expectations but I'm worried that he will go backwards

A little bit surprised I was expecting 35-40, I'm also a bit worried about him being moved to the centres, hopefully that wont happen.

Nikorima not with the top squad for the Broncos so it seems Macca to continue playing 80 this week

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 14
Titans rotation
Wallace 50
James 60 (averaged 59 last year)
Proctor 80 (might not play 80 because of shoulder)
McQueen 60 (there was a 6 game stretch last year where he only played 60 min games)
Passi 40 (average 42 last year)
Pulu 35 (average 37 last year)
Peteru 35 (average 33 last year)
Greenwood 40 (20 on edge, 20 in middle)
Any injuries to any backs McQueen plays 80, Greenwood picks up minutes.
Likewise Wallace will be the one to pick up extra minutes in the middle.

Re: Wallace the concern with the ppm kings and extra minutes is always how the extra workload affects their output, and of course the security their new minutes. If hes averaging 36 minutes last season then basically people are expecting him to increase his minutes by at least 50%, not an easy thing to do playing in a demanding position like prop or lock. I have JWH and will give it another week to see how things pan out for both players before making a call.

I doubt they brought Greenwood over here with the intention to only give him 40 minutes. He will take a little time to get settled though, he only arrived in Aus the week of the game.

He won't go backwards. After Phythian went off he was moved to ctr so his tackles/run metres decreased & also the whole game there was hardly any traffic going down his edge.
