The forum started having issues and downtime more frequently, and because the owners didn't care, it would take forever to get fixed up.

Eventually sportal sold out to/rebranded as Sporting News and the sportal forum went from unreliable to non-existant

The above happened over the course of a year or 2, so there was plenty of time to get this forum established and advertise it to most of the regular members/visitors to old sportal.

Now things generally run a lot smoother and the place is generally dickhead free.

I lurked on sportal for many years before registering.
I only became properly active in 2014 but would have had a few posts here and there in the year or 2 before that.

I was Sportal from 2007 i think Was a mod there, one of the crap ones Milchy was talking about haha
