Well in fairness to the recent mod appointments, there are 8 in total. The average of those 8 would be around 6 years of posting:

MF/Welshy joined 2013;
Bren/myself/Milchy 2012;
Paramatic (Random) 2011 I think?
Honeysett and No Worries were on Sportal from 2010 or something?

I could be wrong on Milchy? Anyway, you get the picture.
Guys, this is the new Renegades Fantasy Sports page. Run by the same people who have always run it and the website, Bible etc.
The old group (now rebranded I believe) is run by a few rogue members who randomly deleted all admins and original members of renegades in the past week.
You only have to watch the videos by members there in the past 24 hours to see that all sense has been lost and been replaced with ranting.
So here is the new home. Let all your fantasy playing mates know to join and still get the information you've become used to without the salty politics that polluted the other group.
Here is the link to give to your mates (also in comments for easy copy/paste from phones)
From the new Renegades facebook.

I am straight up taking a punt on playing MOGA and COTRIC in my centres this week.

Moga - the weather is absolutely perfect in Brisbane, just spent a couple of hours at the caxton hotel for lunch and it doesnt get much better. The suncorp surface is in great condition too, I expect a fast paced, finals quality game, resulting in high base stats across the board and i think moga could jag a try/line break/who knows. And maybe, just maybe, we get another golden point thriller.

Cotric - taking on a depleted sharks team who have now also lost Beale to injury I see plenty of opportunity for Cotric to score points on the wing.

EDIT: depleted is probably a bit dramatic, but the loss of Ennis and Barba from 2017 + Holmes & Beale injuries.

My other less favoured options are Suli, Idris, and Kelly.

Mitch chose to leave, that's on him, haha. Just up and packed his bags and flew to the other side of the World. I still remember how cold the bed felt that morning.

I also have a lot of Frizell love but can't compete with Welshy.

Milchcow wrote:Essentially this forum was created as a sportal replacement.

Sportal the company at some point decided that they weren't interested in running a forum any more and basically stopped maintaining it.
People could still post there and stuff, but no one was doing any admin, there weren't many mods and a lot of the ones that did exist were crap, and those that should have been mods weren't

The forum started having issues and downtime more frequently, and because the owners didn't care, it would take forever to get fixed up.

Eventually sportal sold out to/rebranded as Sporting News and the sportal forum went from unreliable to non-existant

The above happened over the course of a year or 2, so there was plenty of time to get this forum established and advertise it to most of the regular members/visitors to old sportal.

Now things generally run a lot smoother and the place is generally dickhead free.

SI wrote:Random created Fanatics in mid 2015 as a back up for Sportal when admin abandoned Sportal. Thank fuck for that! A few of us had most contacts for the Sportal posters and MF/Honeysett/Milchy/Bren spammed the fuck out of Sportal to link to here. And here we are cheer

I still have a screen grab of MF's spam on my lappy, will post later if I remember.

Thanks for that info guys.

I was happy to stumble across this forum, since I couldn't find much NRL fantasy discussion, and I wasn't going to sort through facebook spam. So cheers to Random for making this, and you guys for helping make it work.

I was nononotorious on Sportal. I would have joined it around 2009 give or take a year.
