Yes, despite being a NSW supporter.
I suppose there are exceptions to every rule

OK, I've made a couple changes to price predictor. Hopefully they make it easier to use.
You can select players from a dropdown box now and it pulls in their prices and scores so far.
I've locked cells you shouldn't be able to edit to stop people stuffing things up (there is no password protection so just unlock them if you really want to change anything)
It won't work properly for Tyronne Roberts-Davis because of how he was added into the system with 1 game history already there, and I couldn't be stuffed putting in exception coding just for him.
But for everyone else just put in predicted scores for round 3 onwards and it should show you their predicted price movements.
Use it as a guide only, don't rely on it to get figures exactly right.
Oh man, you have gone above and beyond here. I can't help but feel that you have remodeled thinking it was too confusing for people, when in reality it was probably already perfect and just to confusing to me. Admittedly these kinds of things are not my strength. Did you know that there are OTHER threads on this "forum"?
Always appreciate your work.

right thought process?
skipping on McGuire priced now at $473,000 to get Whitehead/JBrom for sub $400,000 and just over $400,000

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 18
I could but If I get CWalker in now who is a GUN keeper in the WFB with DPP flexibility I shore up a trickier position and only need Tedesco after Origin to complete it with Hayne a floaterBren wrote:

There is no WFB keeper I like for the price I can get Whitehead and JBrom for when they bottom out

Bugger want to get Abbey in but trading out Talakai for him means I have to take an AE.
Could trade out Pythian but that doesn't bank me any cash.
Best course of action?

Do you really need to bank some cash? let the cows mature for thatLiverpool_Bulldog wrote:Bugger want to get Abbey in but trading out Talakai for him means I have to take an AE.

There's a lot of trading for CTRs and WFB - am I wrong in thinking get the cows in here to spend big on your FRF/2RF/HK/HLFS because they're the better scorers overall? Get a couple decent WFB and CTR and they can get you through till the end when you finalise your team?

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 18
Last year i started with Croker and traded in BJ quite early (or maybe it was the other way around). Was a big reason I was able to catch back up IMO as i have a harder time picking which of my cow WFB/CTR's to play each week than i do forwards (if i have to use them in my 17) and normally miss a lot of points picking the wrong guy and burn a lot of trades chasing the next gun. That said I also finished with a much lower team worth than most. I can see arguments for both.Honeysett wrote:There's a lot of trading for CTRs and WFB - am I wrong in thinking get the cows in here to spend big on your FRF/2RF/HK/HLFS because they're the better scorers overall? Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 18
That's the perception because forwards get more consistent scores, especially for cows because the WFBs generally need a score to increase in value at the same pace, obviously if you hit like Suli did and score 50 R1 you get a huge jump and decent BE moving forward which helps cash generation with poorer scores down the roadHoneysett wrote:There's a lot of trading for CTRs and WFB - am I wrong in thinking get the cows in here to spend big on your FRF/2RF/HK/HLFS because they're the better scorers overall? BIG difference between trading for keepers in the WFB/CTR though, There are so many more forwards you can bring in who offer similar scores so more chance of a few posting some shitto scores i.e Whitehead, JBrom, Carty and bagging them on the cheap
Realistically there are 8 WFBs who are GUNS and you need 3 for the final 17 Ted, Nofo, Munster, Walker, Rapa, Mansour, Dugan maybe TTurbo
there are probably at least 10 more FRF or 2RF you can get for your final 17 so more chance a few drop signifcant $$$ so you can stack more elsewhere

Unfortunately you cant stack your 17 with 17 hookers, front rowers and second rowersHoneysett wrote:

Oh absolutely, the point I'm trying to make is WFB/CTR aren't AS important as making sure your end game focuses on your other players first.

What Archer said is correct mind, getting set and forget guys in, in a tougher to fill position is goodHoneysett wrote:

The difference between GUN WFB/CTR and cow WFB/CTR can be massive and it's quite frankly a headache
You evidence actually proved there are far more options in the FRF and 2RF so you can wait and pick whoever because they all go for roughly the same in the end
if you get your WFBs sorted early you can bring in fallen $$$ guns in the FRF and 2RF and potentially add another gun with the $$$ saved
