Hey KFP. Did you have anything to do with my POD gun C.Norman dropping out unexpectedly?

I was actually going to trade Woods - Norman this round instead of chasing the cash (doing that trade would've allowed me to move Gutho back to WFB). Now Norman is out I'm chasing the cash. I think this one is all on you buddy.

The Jacks news is starting to make me question my AE strategy.

At the moment I have RTS, Holmes, Hayne, Suli and Phythian, as well as Cotric in the centres

I could easily trade Phythian out to one the many 'cash cow' options but I am not motivated at all to do this.

But I really don't to trade in another WFB yo-yo as I already have RTS - Holmes & Hayne to a degree. My preference would be to hold off this week, assume that Holmes will play and take an AE. With Holmes and RTS back next week, there is no problem after that and I also have the option of seeing how Slater goes (and the other 'cash cows').

I think a higher priority is getting rid of Elgey for Lamb and Moeroa for one of the cowboys players (Hess or Hoare).

If I trade out Phythian I would do this by DPPeeing it up to FRF/2RF and bringing in one of the cowboys. That means no roll back after tonight.

If I go direct trades (Moeroa to Hess/Hoare) and Elgey to Lamb, I can wait till Sunday afternoon when the team make up is clearer, but I am stuck with an AE and perhaps no Holmes.

    Thoughts?

Elgey against the Eels forward pack. He is gonna get creamed. Missed tackles galore.

I never have much luck with POD's. The KOD gods don't like it when I try to be clever. Wink LOL

Isaiah Papalii to Rennings a good trade?

No good cashies in the FRF or 2RF for that matter. Rennings don't have great job security but seems like a decent money maker and I'd prefer to play a centre than a winger. Already went Hayne to Abbey. Will keep Idris around another week, might have to play the long con with him and just deal with it.

If Holmes doesn't play you cop a potential crappy AE from Jacks as well as a score of 0 correct? Because Suli is the only guaranteed starter this weekend from your back 5.

Yup couldn't be happier and don't have to waste a trade as well.

True, but in the long run it could be perfect. If Jacks is starting his score will be OK. If I move Hayne or Phythian out I can fix this, but it means either keeping Elgey or Moeroa another week instead of a keeper I may not be able to afford next week, so in the long run, it may a good option.

Taking the risk of an AE is OK. Score of 0 in the backs for one week is like a planned injury. Holmes and RTS will be back next week and problem solved and no need to bring a WFB in. The game is 26 rounds long

In the late mail it said McGuire has been on light training this week. Why is that? Thanks.

If I do Phythian or Hayne to Hess, I cannot afford Lamb anymore. Phythian to Hess doesnt work by itself either.

If Tyler Cornish I put Tyler Cornish in at half though for Elgey I can do either and have a decent amount of money leftover. He will play 4 to 6 weeks at fullback. That could be enough to go alright. I want Elgey gone.

Anyone know much about Cornish (POD?)

Still a potential rubbish AE from Jacks as he may only get half a game at best.

I can't see Slater coming on as a replacement for Jacks and forcing Munster to shift. More likely in my opinion it will be similar role to how Morgan is used by QLD. Quick play the balls round the ruck and a 3rd half option, be that Slater or Munster with Slater back at FB

Unless you are desperate for 10-20 pints this week there is no need to trade Elgey to Lamb long term. Lamb avg 40 from now on will peak in 80k, If you think Elgey can avg 30 from now on he will rise 80k too. I think Elgey can pick up that 5 points.
