That's the perception because forwards get more consistent scores, especially for cows because the WFBs generally need a score to increase in value at the same pace, obviously if you hit like Suli did and score 50 R1 you get a huge jump and decent BE moving forward which helps cash generation with poorer scores down the road

BIG difference between trading for keepers in the WFB/CTR though, There are so many more forwards you can bring in who offer similar scores so more chance of a few posting some shitto scores i.e Whitehead, JBrom, Carty and bagging them on the cheap

Realistically there are 8 WFBs who are GUNS and you need 3 for the final 17 Ted, Nofo, Munster, Walker, Rapa, Mansour, Dugan maybe TTurbo

there are probably at least 10 more FRF or 2RF you can get for your final 17 so more chance a few drop signifcant $$$ so you can stack more elsewhere

You're missing RTS out of that list, and Semi has at least as good a case for being there as Nofo/Rapa

Left RTS off because everyone already has him, valid argument for Semi if he stays for full season...

Wow if Elgey made all his tackles rather than missing them he would have scored 41 and 45 respectively.

    Missed tackles are huge!

    Thinking of going
    Cartwright to jacks
    Stimson to Hess

Gives me a back row of jdb mannering buhrer Taylor Hess sirroren and 80k in the bank so shouldn't be to hard for me to get 6 gun back rowers in the next four weeks

    Job security a worry?

So i always leave my team selection until tonight and now that I'm doing it i can see where all the stress over the cows and who is going to play where is coming from.

I can cover for RTS (as long as the gynecologist is in on game day) by switching Hayne to Hoare/Spina through multiple DPP's, but in order to do that i have to make the call well before the game as the DPP players play before them.... Sad

I am not a fan of Hess still, but certainly like the moves you are making and if you bring in J. Bromwich and Whitehead in coming weeks that team is stacked.

Im not a huge fan of hess either and think he might be a wasted trade. But the flip of the coin is with scott out he gets 55-60min off the bench for the season and could be a gurgess with his tbs and try scoring ability. Worst case scenario he scores low 30s and i bank 40-50k and i trade him to whitehead.

This is why i am thinking 2 trades or no trades this week. Too much can go wrong for my liking.....but then i think i use this round to attack while others flounder making a strong 17 and i start all over again....

Atm I'm bringing in Abbey for Pythian, nothing really to worry about.

He has plenty of time to get to 250k which is my target for him

Crichton should definitely keep his spot. Should be in the run on side.

Fuck it, I'm taking a punt, Carty to Hess. Thinking Aubbo too but I see too much potential in Hess over the next few weeks. If he does stay in the front row, whose to say he won't keep that spot all year. Worse comes to worse I now have 246K in the bank and he should get to 400K making a straight swap to Whitehead, then I also have that money to make another big upgrade or two to JBrom, Bodene Mannering etc.

Some of the player photos have been updated, Suli kinda reminds me of a young Wesley Snipes.

So I could trade Hayne to any cash cow - Robert Jennings, Tyrone Roberts Davis, Brad Abbey, Marcelo Montoya, Dylan Edwards, Kalyn Ponga. I have it in that order for this week based on money making and job security.

I'm thinking Tyrone Roberts Davis maybe a better shout than Robert Jennings. Say they both average 25 points for the next 4 rounds, who makes more money? I won't be playing either so I'm thinking its a double win trading in the base price player who has a negative break even from a 37 score. If he goes well he could make $75,000 in two weeks. That being said he's playing the Eels and Cowboys.

Crichton seems to have alot of fans. Might take the plunge. End of the day it's money in the bank ready for a big splurge in a few weeks.

I'm coming round to Cornish just because of his DPP. Very handy with Guth at WFB. I really want to cash out Koro for $$$ to jump on a cut price Whitehead or JBrom soon. I know nothing about his form or security and Titans forums are ghost towns

Is Billy too much of a risk?  Very tempted to go Talakai to Billy.

too risky until we see how he goes I reckon mate, never been a huge fantasy scorer anyway so even if he goes well and shoulder holds up will still be at a very attractive price
