I'm online a lot. But if people don't make picks it becomes contagious. You lose passion pretty quickly when every time you log on you see the draft has not progressed.

Will be a spot in League 3 or 4 for you mate.

It is the Sydney Morning Herald's version of DT/Fantasy. It is purely a Draft comp. The Draft itself can be completely tailored; the scoring is reasonably different but stillfamiliar; and the platform is VERY stable with generally no issues.

There is no Overall, it is a 100% Draft League that Shanbon put us all onto when it started back in 2014 (I think). It has developed a very strong rivalry on here

I'm happy to start it as soon as everyone gets in the league.

Will it be easier to regenerate Leagues from last year and just dump the promotion/relegation entrants out and send codes to the new league participants?

That way the set up remains the same and league settings etc?

If they have that feature then yeah, may as well. Especially considering it can all be changed anyway. Only thing is I think was a discrepancy between Leagues as to weekly lockout? Or was that 2016?

And I prefer the term "hanging around with some new guys for the year" as opposed to dumped!

Think there might of been mate, my thoughts were easy to get them started, any setting discrepancies can be sorted easy enough

L2 had a strict lockout last year.

With a decent AE/reserve system that is the way it should be.

Agreed. Adds to it differing from Fantasy as well. I think the lockout days were different. One year L1 was Thursday and one year it was Friday, or something like that. I thought L2 or L3 had a no lockout last year but must be wrong.

Last 2 years L1 has been a complete lockout at the start of the very first game of each round.

Maybe it was 2015 then. There was a year where we could make changes after the Thursday games, but that could have been when it was set at Friday because there weren't many Thursday games back then. Actually that makes sense. That could have been what I am remembering.

We also need to make sure there's enough notice of the start of the draft to let everyone put their auto-picks in, so that when various accountants or insurance workers time out they at least get their next man up and not whoever the game reckons is alright.

The first iteration opened the leagues on a Friday and started drafting on the Sunday, without notice. Was a circus.

Ultimate League launched in 2014, providing NRL fans with an exciting draft-based fantasy game to play with friends, family and colleagues. Unfortunately it will not be returning for the 2018 season.

Loved it because it was unique in comparison to the other fantasy games!

NRL Fantasy ? Although I hate that disease ridden layout.
