This weeks most traded - lamb to Munster.

I'll be funding this with a Kelly to cashout CTR.

Which I may try to achieve with MWZ. What do we think is the likelihood of him playing for Tigs? Nofo got injured this week right? Naiquama is shit - I'm hoping he gets a convenient run.

So after the bye rounds are done and your team has settled back to a gun 17, how many trades should I aim to have left? 5-6 for potential injuries or any good looking trades?

Thanks for the support guys, appreciate it heaps.

Thinking about my rd10 trades already although I need to slow down a bit there. Ponga to Munster if Coote is back

I did want Cody for his byes but he's going backwards at the moment and Munster gunning it.

    What does everyone think?

Any DCE owners wanna talk some DCE? He really is playing second fiddle to Green this year, consistently making half the amount of kicks, and losing out on the points big time. I think his recent spat of 30s are pretty reflective of his value this year. Thinking of doing the straight trade to Munster this week, but it is a hard trigger to pull because he has always been a gun in the past and it feels like I'm breaking the 'don't trade guns' rule. Not sure how Manly can abide having their 10 million dollar captain playing with so little input, but him picking his moments seems to be working for Manly and I see that continuing, with some poor fantasy scores unless he grabs a meaty (or 5 try assists). Any thoughts or plans from other owners would be appreciated.

Yeah not sure I thought he was part of the group that weren't allowed to play, or was that last year?

815 pre-updates. Couldn't be bothered working it out, just pissed at Bodene fucking up the last 10 minutes, as like most of the games this weekend.

That game from Munster is the reason I started the year with him over Teddy. At fullback he has outstanding base stats and when he does get attacking stats it's a monster score. Billy coming back is great for the game but put my fantasy team on the back foot early

Honestly bye planning should have started 6 weeks ago. Basically you want as many high scoring players in each of the bye rounds as possible. A player with "good byes" plays in 3 or 4 of the 4 major bye rounds (12/15/18/19) round 13 is also important since two of the better bye teams (Rabbits and Sharks) have byes this week so could see plenty of teams losing the ground they made the round before by not fielding a full 17. At the moment I have been loading my team for 12 and 13 and will be looking to use maximum trades in 14 and 15(5 total) to set up for 15. 18 and 19 is always tough since not many keepers player both and most teams are low on trades by that points. They are usually the rounds I attack hard to make up ground

I would assume Cleary didn't push for a mid year signing to play him in reserve grade. I expect him to replace Naiqama

The only reason I would consider trading out a gun would be if their role changed from previous years. It is obvious DCE is no longer the main man with Green taking the majority of the kicking. I would trade him out without thinking twice

Updates take me to 852 for the round. Currently ranked 128 so could move up a spot in my overall league. Would you believe the only two teams that are ahead of me are non-Cam Smith owners.

I say it every week but I'm honestly surprised I maintain my ranking with the team I have. The disadvantage of so many people profiting off Ponga hasn't handicapped me too much.
